[Asterisk-Users] Help with Cisco 7905G corrupted image!!
Hi, I recently purchased from a friend 2 Cisco 7905G for testing them with Asterisk. I was able to upgrade one of them with the SIP image, the other hang up during the upgrade process and now it won't boot again. When powered up, the red and green lights keep on and the screen is blank. Does any one know a procedure to fix this ? I do not have a contract with Cisco, I have even call a friend in Cisco which said that I must purchase a contract to be able to open a TAC ticket. Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards. AM. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of asterisk-users-request@lists.digium.com Sent: Martes, 05 de Julio de 2005 09:35 p.m. To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 33 Send Asterisk-Users mailing list submissions to asterisk-users@lists.digium.com To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to asterisk-users-request@lists.digium.com You can reach the person managing the list at asterisk-users-owner@lists.digium.com When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Asterisk-Users digest..." Your processor may look like a 586 to the installer but may not support all of the instructions (causing a crash). The via arena site gives instructions on how to compile and get it installed on your processor! (I have the C3 Nehemiah processor so I didn't need to recompile) ________________________________ From: Wiley Siler [mailto:wsiler@education2020.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 05, 2005 7:53 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Epia C3 Linux I have attempted FC3, RedHat 9, Mandriva 10, Gentoo 2005.0, Gentoo 2004.3, Debian Mini, Debian woody, and Windows XP. Asterisk is 1.07 stable and the phones are Polycom IP300, IP500, and IP600. Has anyone done an Astersik users guide? Something non-technical but covering most of the features an office worker would use. If nothing exists, should we develop this as a documentation project? After all, the greatest software is little use if the users never hear about the features.
