Plit result of pairs in an Sweave compatible manner
...in a way that subplots
of 10*10, say, rectangles are generated. These subplots should then go
to Sweave which is accepting one figure at a time presently.
Thanks for help
Christian Hoffmann
PS: In the old S (The New S language, Becker, Chambers, Wilks) there was
a parameter "max" to split the output.

Help with plit plot design in logit model
Hi,
I'm trying to fit a logit model to a set of data that was collected under a split plot scheme. The structure of the data is
Whole plot factors: Watering Frequency (2 levels: Hi/Lo) and Fertilizer type (3 factors A/B/C)
Subplot factor: slope type (2 factors up/down)
Response: Proportion of infected leaves(Infected leaves/Total leaves) of the plant (2 plants recorded from each p...

IAX to zaptel echo
Hi all,
I am experiencing a problem with the quality of the voice communication
between an IAX based softphone (WinIAX) and an outside line through a
FXO port or even with a regular analog phone connected to a FXS port.
The party using the IAX softphone hears his own echo a plit of a second
after speaking. The party on the analog end does not experience any
echo. I tried to modify the KFLAG parameter in the Makefile of zaptel to
change the algorithm without results. I also tried to modify the value
of the echocancel paramter in zapata.conf (tried 32,64,yes/128,256)
without...

Splitting Area under curve into equal portions
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I have some data generated as follows:
<code>
n <- 2000
work <- vector()
for(x in 1:n) {
work[x] <- sum(1:(n-x+1))
}
plot(work)
</code>
What I want to do
- -----------------
I want to split work into a number of unequal chunks such that the sum of the
values in each chunk is approximately equal.
The numbers in "work" are proportional to the amount of work to be performed for
each value of x by a function I've written. i.e. For each value of x, there are
work[x] * y ca...

Parsechecking in a commit hook
This has been a much-requested feature, and is now a reality (in svn
trunk):
There is a new option, --ignoreimport, that will (surprisingly)
ignore import statements. This is really only useful when using --
parseonly in a commit hook, and note that you''ll have to add the
option to --parseonly, none of the puppet executables will add it for
you. You should be able to

Hi folks,
After some time away from it, and a big rebase as a consequence, here is
the updated version of paravirt_ops for x86_64, heading to inclusion.
Your criticism is of course, very welcome.
