...etup... I'm trying to create a phone conference line that users would call using a unique phone number (no matter if they are moderators or just plain users). I use Asterisk 1.2.6 The available conferences are defined as follows: conf => 1000,user pin1, moderator pin1 conf => 1001,user pin2, moderator pin2 conf => 1002,user pin3, moderator pin3 ... conf => 1009, user pin9, moderator pin9 The users are prompted whether they are a moderator or a user. Hardwiring a Tellabs echo canceller - help req

Digium tech support pointed me to this doc for a standard T1 cable: http://www.arcelect.com/RJ48C_and_RJ48S_8_position_jack_.htm which looks like it means: pin1 = recieve ring pin2 = recive tip pin4 = send ring pin5 = send tip So I treated the bottom part of the diagram like a noraml cat5 cable & connected it in this way: Zap side | 2572 side -------------------- pin 1 <=> pin 25 pin 2 <=> pin 21 pin 4 <=> pin 10 pin 5 <=> pin 6 on the T1 side...

Testing two E400P with E1 cross-cable
...le-->| Span2 | | Span3 |--E1 crossover cable-->| Span3 | | Span4 |--E1 crossover cable-->| Span4 | +-------+ +-------+ The basic configuration seems ok, since zttool shows the links are OK. The other pins are connected as I supposed it should...

Correct voltages but no dial tone on TDM2400P
...he phone of the hook the 'Total/Conf/Act goes' to 24/24/1. When I "cat /dev/zap/24" with the phone off the hook, I get random data, and talking into the phone or hitting keys changes this data, indicating the TMD's adc is working. PHONE CONNECTION: The Tip is connected to Pin2 on the 50pin Centronics, ring is connected to Pin27. Ring is 46V below Tip on hook and 6.7V below off hook. Is this the right connection for channel 24? Why is there no dial tone coming through? ASTERISK: On the Asterisk side, I can set up sip phones and trunks, but no matter how hard I try, I h...
