Persuing the gtalk issue - not only jack-related
Hello everyone!
So I hacked app_jack.c today, as best I could. Whic came mostly down to
inserting ast_log() messages.
I discovered the following with JACK:
When it starts, it tries to read 512 bytes and only gets 0. That clears up
after a while.
Sometimes a good time later than the reading comes the writing. And there
the real strangeness might begin. Because usually the framebuffer

Comparing Cox model with Competing Risk model
I have a competing risk data where a patient may die from either AIDS or
Cancer. I want to compare the cox model for each of the event of interest
with a competing risk model. In the competing risk model the cumulative
incidence function is used directly. I used the jackknife (pseudovalue) of
the cumulative incidence function for each cause (AIDS or Cancer) in a
generalized estimating equation. I

Detecting answer supervison from an AGI app
...dumb Western Electric payphone and some homebuilt hardware to control the coin relay which is accessible to Asterisk through the AGI interface. I'd like to be able to set the state of the coin relay to collect at the end of a call if a called party answers.
[Hey, I admit this project is being persued just for the fun of it ]
Looking through the documentation, there is a way to get channel state, but it only tells you that the channel is
bridged and does not tell you the called party has answered.
Is there another interface (unix sockets maybe?) which I can
use to query the answer supervison...

Claas -- will you please install a kernel that will work with the
ipsec-nn Patch-O-Matic patches? You are just making live miserable for
yourself persuing the path that you are on...
Without those patches, IPSEC and Netfilter basically don''t work together
except in very simply cases.
If you insist on continuing to run your broken configuration, you might
see if adding the ''routeback'' option to ppp0 helps.

Well, I will give it a try.
But: more testers might see more in those logging lines ;-)

Please help me!!
Dear Ogg Vorbis,
I'm a senior in Information Technology, and my thesis is on Audio Watermarking. As a new starter in audio, I really need your help, and suggestions. I think in order to persue something on Audio I have to know much details about audio formats. So could you please show me where I can find the documents about the information I need ? Finally,could you please answer a confused question in my mind :
What are the differences between frames in file wav?

...post a quick 140 char message about what is going on
than to compose a whole email or forum post. I've seen several websites
and communities starting to use this as a outlet for their projects.
So the ultimate question is (poor HHG2G reference there) - Would this
work and would it be wise to persue this option ? I would volunteer to
do the leg work to get things going and help anywhere I can of course.
But would others like to collaborate on this as well ?
Here is a link to Status.net

Yes, the vorbis format is definately finalised (has been for well over a year,
now). We've published the spec ourselves, but we're also persuing publication
as an RFC, etc. While the encoder will continue to be improved, existing
decoders will work without modification.
The more people that ask Apple for support the better, I suppose - go ahead
and ask them!

Request suggestions about how to remove redundencies caused by SCEV expansion fundementally
...nsion, the cost of searching existing IR, convert them to SCEV and
see if they are equivalent with the SCEV to be expanded looks
expensive. And we need to add complex rules to define SCEV equivalence
from CSE perspective. So I think the method provides me one more
alternative, but I am not going to persue it right away.
This is the ideas what I currently have. More suggestions are welcomed.
Thanks,
Wei.

2.3.1 Replication is throwing scary errors
...atches recently and I have build a custom package for it for FreeBSD. It?s in my pkg repo which I can forward you if you want it.
You need to add some lines to the logging thing and then trace those and collaborate with the dovecot community/developers. I did not have yet found
the time to actively persue this due to other things on my head. Sorry for that. I hope to do this ?soon? but I dont want to pin myself to a commitment that

Has Many :through associations
Greetings again:
I''m simplifying the case I presented earlier regarding the use of
has_many :through. I''m using DHH''s example from "Persuing Beauty with
Ruby On Rails".
Here are his models:
class Author < ActiveRecord::Base
has_many :authorships
has_many :books, :through => :authorships
end
class Book < ActiveRecord::Base
has_many :authorships
has_many :authors, :through => :authorships
end
class Authors...

A problem still remains where the palette used gives ok results on the videos

not really going to persue this as I just wanted to see if it would work
at all.
Hope this might help someone.

I'm persuing this with the linux-ha users mailing list but the bug
doesn't seem to get much attention from the linux-ha developers and I
was wondering whether anyone here has stumbled on it and have a work

The strange thing is that the two noes are identical - both are CentOS
