the samba mount point. Any ideas here? This is the last thing i need to
get samba fully functional on my LAN. Everything else has been a piece

Thank you in advance,

Printers and other stuff
...Unix experieince, I have gravitated towards BSD as my printing
daemon.
Could this be the reason I am having trouble> Does Samba work better
with CUPS as opposed to BSD? Inquiring minds want to know.

OT - What are these crazy messages?
I'm just dying to know what the origin of these messages with the txt
attachments is. I get quite a few here, and even some in other mailing
lists. But they're all unique; the attachment filename starts with ATT
(followed by four or five digits), and are 192 bytes long. The senders
are often different.
Anyone got a bead on this?

which print tool: CUPS vs BSD?
Which printing mnechansim works best with Samba? CUPS or BSD? I suspect
that BSD support in Samba is not the greatest.

Joe

[OT] Good Gigabit Ethernet Card ...
Greetings ...
I hate to ask these questions, but I dought I will get a straight
answer from an Salesmen ...
I am looking at putting gigabit in as a back bone for a few Linux
servers, but I have used an Accton Gigabit ethernet card with RedHat
8.0/9 and found it a little unstable ... do and RedHat users have a
suggestion on a good, but not expensive Gigabit card, basicly for a
