Anyone use PDQ with Samba for Printing
Hello, ** Please reply directly to ian@ichilton.co.uk ** Does anyone use PDQ for printing with Samba? If so, please could you tell me what options to use in smb.conf?? Mainly, what do I use for the printing option? Can I just use: printing = bsd print command = pdq -P%p %s; rm %s Or, can I not use PDQ, because there is no setting for it on the printing parameter??? PDQ printing (network)
Hi, no archive on this question... Using 'pdq' to print to a networked ps printer is ok under RH7.1 Linux. How do I config wine for networked postscript printing? 'pdq' knows about its own ip/port setup, so the command line is: 'pdq filename.ps' Thanks!

Searching for antilog function
Dear R-users, I have a basic question about how to determine the antilog of a variable. Say I have some number, x, which is a factor of 2 such that x = 2^y. I want to figure out what y is, i.e. I am looking for the antilog base 2 of x. I have found log2 in the Reference Manual. But I am struggling how to get the antilog of that. Any help will be appreciated! > version platform

Faxing with an IAXy
Hi, Has anyone got faxing working via an IAXy? I'm having trouble getting it working with a fax machine here. The IAXy works fine, I can make incoming/outgoing calls via it, however our PDQ takes a few redials to get data over to the dialled party, and faxing doesn't seem to work at all. I have turned off all the echo cancellation stuff, just in case that was an issue. Anything I should try, has anyone had any luck doing this either here in the UK or elsewhere? Cheers,...

Credit Card machines / interop
Hi all, One of the areas I am trying to research before I can confidently start deploying Asterisk is "Credit Card Machines". (PDQ / Streamline machines / any similar) I'm talking about the credit card swipe boxes at point of sale desks. I believe they dial out to the specific bank provider everytime a card is swiped. My question is: - Does anyone have any experience using these type of devices with Asterisk, possib...

INSTALL
Hi , I'm new to openSSH and this environment as such. I had a few questions. 1. Do I need to follow the INSTALL to do the installation of the code. 2. Can I pick and choose the files (i.e., I only need the ssh client/agent/server and don't care much about the secureFTP and others). So, what are the files and the dependancies associated with this. 3. I tried to just compile the files in

File size limit = 2G?
Hello All, I'm running Samba 2.2.7a on RedHat 8.0. Connecting to a Windows 2000 200GB share works OK, except for files > 2 GBytes. The linux box can see the large Windows files, but does not see their correct sizes -- it reports an absurdly big size when using ls -l. Files less that 2GB show up correctly. Trying to create a 3G file on the Windows box from the linux box, using:

des_ssh1_setiv not setting the IV ?
Greetings; I've been reading the OpenSSH source code and have a question about the des_ssh1_setiv function in cipher.c. (cut-n-pasted here from cipher.c v1.47) : static void des_ssh1_setiv(CipherContext *cc, const u_char *iv, u_int ivlen) { memset(cc->u.des.iv, 0, sizeof(cc->u.des.iv)); } This doesn't use the *iv parameter. Compare with: static void
