[PATCH v3] xen/tools: Add 64 bits big bar support
Currently it is assumed PCI device BAR access < 4G memory. If there is such a device whose BAR size is larger than 4G, it must access > 4G memory address. This patch enable the 64bits big BAR support on hvmloader. v3 changes from v2: - Remain original print information v2 changes from v1 as comments by Jan. 1) Set Dynamic MMIO high memory address instead of a fixed number 640G 2) Mask

[PATCH] PCI: sync up the SR-IOV changes between Dom0 and upstream kernels
The SR-IOV patches for the upstream kernel are finally in-tree. This patch backports some minor changes that appeared in the upstream kernel after the Dom0 patches were checked-in. [PATCH RFC] virtio-pci: add MMIO property
Currently virtio-pci is specified so that configuration of the device is done through a PCI IO space (via BAR 0 of the virtual PCI device). However, Linux guests happen to use ioread/iowrite/iomap primitives for access, and these work uniformly across memory/io BARs. While PCI IO accesses are faster than MMIO on x86 kvm, MMIO might be helpful on other systems which don't implement PIO or

[PATCH RFC] virtio-pci: new config layout: using memory BAR
This adds support for new config, and is designed to work with the new layout code in Rusty's new layout branch. At the moment all fields are in the same memory BAR (bar 2). This will be used to test performance and compare memory, io and hypercall latency. Compiles but does not work yet. Migration isn't handled yet. It's not clear what do queue_enable/queue_disable fields do, not

[RFC] kvmtool: add support for modern virtio-pci
This is a first go at adding support for the modern (based on the 1.0 virtio spec) virtio-pci implementation. kvmtool makes it simple to add additional transports such as this because of it's layering, so we are able to add it as a 3rd (after legacy virtio-pci and virtio-mmio) transport layer, and still allow users to choose to use either the legacy or the modern implementations (but setting

GFX Passthrough
Hi List, many People seem to be interested in the Graphic-Card Passthrough Feature (for more or less obvious reasons). Official Support is still under development, and i hope not to interfere with it in any (bad) way ... But i remember my own painfull and timeconsuming research when i wanted this feature to work, so i thought perhaps this spares some time for the unpatient users like me :)

Patches for VGA-Passthrough XEN 4.2 unstable
Hello, I have been working on VGA-passthrough in the last month. When Xen was at his version 3.5 there was a few patches to make this work for some graphic cards using the patches developed by Han Weidong and posted here (http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2009-08/msg01176.html) and the same patches posted file by file are here
