problems upgrading to samba 2.0.5a
I previously had an older version of Samba installed with the following
smb.conf:
; Make sure and restart the server after making changes to this file, ex:
; /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb stop
; /etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start
[global]
; Uncomment this if you want a guest account

Warning when compiling nmbd_incomingdgrams.c
I just downloaded samba-1.9.18p3.tar.gz and compiled it on a DEC 3000/300
running OSF/1 v3.0 (uname -mrsv gives: "OSF1 V3.0 347 alpha") using the

The compiler gives the following warning:

Although I could disable the Ip security feature in the windows

see any samba servers.
Did anyone know any information about this problem?

Windows 2000
Just curious, has anyone gotten Samba to work with Windows 2000? I've
mucked with it a bit. But can't seem to make it go. I haven't tried
applying the NT 4.0 Registry patches yet I will probably take a look at
them and see if I can get them working with Win2000.
Thanks!
