Partitionable Raid
...ub.conf? Should I leave those lines untouched? If so, how would
grub know where to boot from if /dev/sda fails?
Or I would need to swap the drives in order to boot properly and then put a
new one as /dev/sdb and then add it to the array?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

Multiple MD 3200 (Intel 537) cards on a single system.

we're hit with 150% total import taxes for this kind of equipment (getting
the final price to over US$ 700), while we can purchase Encore modems at US$
15 after all taxes, so it's kind of hard to use digium cards here.

Letting linux be the router, allowing dynamic routes, suggestion
What challenge this would solve ?
VPN software in general tries to be another router when running in server
mode with multiple clients.
This restricts VPN customers from having complex topology.
For instance, I'd like to have two tunnels between each client network and
each server (with two broadband connections on each end), with some OSPF
running and automatically switching from one to

IAX2 only asterisk scalability
...nt packets to the first one, flushing that macro packet, then
decoding on the other side, much like a VPN tunneling protocol. I already
have my own VPN that does almost exactly that, except I'd like it to know
much more about IAX2 packets, in order to compress that better.

With my proposal this doesn`t happen since the traffic between peers is
still L3.

About Xapian vs ElasticSearch
I was looking for performance comparisons.
I just found this link (http://blog.inoi.fi/2010/10/migrating-from-xapian-to-elasticsearch.html <http://blog.inoi.fi/2010/10/migrating-from-xapian-to-elasticsearch.html>).
This was write on 2010.
Could someone comment it ?
Is There some truth in what he said?
I hate java, and didn?t want to back to java search engines...

Garbled voice on long distance calls
I've been having random problems when I make long distance calls using
either VoicePulse or Nufone. Sometimes the calls go through clear, and
other calls (or even just part of a call) the person on the other end
just hears garbled voice, or really broken up voice. Sometimes it lasts
for only a few seconds, but other times it goes on for a few minutes
until I give up on the call.
