"For operational use, shell access is assumed, and root privileges are
required."
It's not much of a secret that you can mess with a system if you have
root access...

net user add disables remote account automatically?
I notice when issuing the command "net rpc user testuser -S ip_address -U
administrator%password" that the testuser gets added to the remote machine
(Win 2k3) sucessfully, however the account is disabled.
After adding the user remotely it requires that the administrator log into
the remote machine "ip_address" to enable the newly created account.
Is there a way to add a user

SAMBA digest 1365
Hello Everyone
Before I start, I would just like to mention that a few weeks ago, I had
never used Linux or Samba before and thanks to a friend (calvin) of mine
and the man pages that came with linux and Samba I have now decided to
have our 8 WAN NT servers replaced with linux and samba. Just saying
thank you for the great work on the man pages and keep it up.
But here I am Stuck.

Negative integer subscripts in [[?
Should negative subscripts be outlawed in
x[[subscript]]
?
Currently, if subscript is a scalar then it can only
be negative if length(x)==1 (otherwise [[ throws an
error). If length(subscript)>1 then it gets treated
as an attempt to recursively extract an element of
a nested list.

how to output something from within <% %> tags?
simple question: how do I output something from within <% %> tags? e.g.
like ''echo'' in PHP. I thought it would be ''puts'' or ''print'' but neither
seems to work. right now I always close the %> and open a <%= which is
tedious.

[PATCH v2] virtio_net: CTRL_GUEST_OFFLOADS depends on CTRL_VQ
The only way for guest to control offloads (as enabled by
VIRTIO_NET_F_CTRL_GUEST_OFFLOADS) is by sending commands
through CTRL_VQ. So it does not make sense to
acknowledge VIRTIO_NET_F_CTRL_GUEST_OFFLOADS without
VIRTIO_NET_F_CTRL_VQ.
The spec does not outlaw devices with such a configuration, so we have
to support it. Simply clear VIRTIO_NET_F_CTRL_GUEST_OFFLOADS.
