Hello all, Just to ask have anyone try osync before? https://github.com/deajan/osync And would you think that this will fix our issue on https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/SysVol_Bidirectional_Replication Where DC2 files or folder will be removed? Thank You.

On the "Bidirectional Rsync/Unison based SysVol replication workaround" page. The title (as you can see) includes the word UNISON when in fact the "Unison" program is NOT being used for this replication anymore. As the instructions there actually use "Osync" then the word "UNISON" should probably need to be replaced with "OSYNC". (I looked rather quickly but, I do not see any Unison references in the instructions anywhere.) The Unison linux "syncing" program does NOT support Windows based ACL's and therefore...

Hey Samba team - Thanks for all your work I have three production samba 4 DCs 2 running on Ubuntu 16.04 (Samba 4.4.5 and 4.4.4) and one on 14.04 (Samba 4.3.3) all working well for the most part. However to keep everything in sync I setup osync for syncing Sysvol. As recent conversations on the list indicate following the sync operation I lose access to sysvol until I run 'samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset' - thats not my concern.
