[Samba] Osync error for sysvol directory : rsync: set_acl: sys_acl_set_file Invalid argument (22)
Hello,
I got many errors on files when synchronizing the sysvol directory
between 2 AD DC with osync :
...
rsync: set_acl:
sys_acl_set_file(ariane.intra/Policies/{2487894F-DA69-4CE1-82A9-D9B4EFE5D32E}/Adm,
ACL_TYPE_ACCESS): Invalid argument (22)
rsync: set_acl:
sys_acl_set_file(ariane.intra/Policies/{2487894F-DA69-4CE1-82A9-D9B4EFE5D32E}/Adm/admfiles.ini,
ACL_TYPE_ACCESS): Invalid argument (22)
rsync: set_acl:
sys_acl_set_file(ariane.intra/Policies/{2487894F-DA69-4CE1-82A9-D9B4EFE5D32E}/Adm/conf.adm,
ACL_TYPE_ACCESS): Invalid argument (22)
rsync: set_acl:
sys_acl_set_file(ariane.intra/Policies/{2487894F-DA69-4CE1-82A9-D9B4EFE5D32E}/Adm/inetres.adm,
ACL_TYPE_ACCESS): Invalid argument (22)
...
I have read here that it's a rsync limitation ( files or dirs with more
than 16 ACLs are not rsynced correctly )
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7865
I have rsync version 3.0.9 protocol version 30, and it seems that
version 3.1.1 correct that point (- Fixed a problem reading more than 16
ACLs on some OSes. )
How can I upgrade rsync to this version?
I have a SMP Debian 3.2.73-2+deb7u2*x86_64* GNU/Linux and even debian
backport says that 3.0.9 is the more recent...
Thanks for helping! :)
