Menu using Scriptaculous Effects = OnMouseOver bug
I am trying to achieve a Flash-like menu with OnMouseOver effects on 3 divs below. Unfortunately, the javascript resets when the mouse is rolled over the text and if you go mouse crazy on the divs, the script seems to remember where it cut off, and doesn''t roll down completely afterwards. Is it a good place to ask for help? I couldn''t find any Scriptaculous forum (only

Microstrategy web y R
Carlos e Isidro, nuevamente muchas gracias por vuestra respuesta. Carlos no me he explicado bien.

multiple plot in odfWeave
Hello R users, I found the odfWeave package to create an odf document. It seems to be a very nice tool. So i tried to used it to create a report with multiple plot: I create an odt file with some code inside: I connect to a mysql database I get a list of projects foreach project I would like to make a plot (a map exactly) then in a R console I use the odfweave (inFile, outFile) function.

nested analysis with lme - odd result?
Hello! When I simulate variance at only a single level in a nested analysis using lme (all levels are random effects), the results confuse me. Instead of lme reporting high variance in only that simulated level, substantial variance (>10% of simulated level) often appears in other levels -- in some configurations, as often as 50% of the time. Usually this spurious variance shows up in

optimize and mcparallel problem
Dear list, I am running into 2 problems when using the optimize function from the stats package (note: I've also tried unsuccessfully to use optim, nlm, & nlminb). The second problem is caused by my solution to the first, so I am asking if anyone has a better solution to the first question, or if there exists a solution to the second problem. I should also mention that what I am

Linear mixed models with custom link functions in R
Hello All, I am looking for an R library/function that allows the specification of a custom link function in a linear mixed model. I've been using glm() in library MASS to fit fixed-effect models with a custom link but my study design demands mixed models. Any suggestions on the best R library/function to achieve this would be greatly appreciated. I have tried, to no avail, to
