Screen resolution in StarCraft
I have installed StarCraft succesfully, but the screen resolution is only 600x480, how do I change it to 1024x768? I have tried to write: wine --desktop 1024x768 starcraft.exe but that makes the area available 1024x768 inside a 600x480 resolution! Sincerely Jesper

December LLVM bay-area social is this Thursday!
Oof. :( Offhand, I can’t think of any place in particular. As one might imagine, accommodating 50+ people isn’t always super easy for places to do. Suggestions welcome! On Tue, Dec 24, 2019 at 10:27 AM Sean Silva <chisophugis at gmail.com> wrote: > It looks like Tied House will be shutting...

I am trying to execute a program under rh 7.2 with an application switch '/'. Though the documentation states this is possible I have been unable to execute with success. I have tried many escape variations for the slash but that has not worked either. Any thoughts? Thanks! Loren

T1 slips/BPVs clarifications (was: Help! Problems talking to upstream switch)
...A slip is when one end of the circuit is running according to a clock that is faster than the other end. Once the capacity of the buffer overflows a frame (193 bits) is discarded if the far end clock is running faster or a frame is repeated if the far end clock is running slower. It is called OOF (out of Frame) if sync is lost with the far end and the system must retrain to find the framing bits. > This would be a slip. under another kind of attack
Hi folks, "somehow" similar to the thread "under some kind oof attack" started by "MJ": I have dovecot shielded by fail2ban which works fine. But since a few days I see many many IPs per day knocking on my doors with wron password and/or users. But the rate at which they are knocking is very very low. So fail2ban will never catch them. ttyS0 access
Until last week my wine runs a Microcontroler Programmer under serial port very well, But in this week have problems to work wine for serial ports on my new Mandrake 8.1. Well, in Mdk 8.1 there is no ttyS0 devices but links to /dev/tts/0 and /dev/tts/1 I realy don't remember how was until last week, but I think about users and perms to devices. I try to chmod a+rw for /dev/tts/0 and tts/1
