I have 2 TDM400p cards with 8 FXO modules and 6 pots lines connected to them (last 2 channels are unused but configured in zaptel). I recently set up Asterisk with an Adtran TA750. All is well except the phones do not show the MWI. Hi, Using 1.4.26.1 & DAHDI 2.2.0.2, FSK VMWI devices off a TDM840 work fine. With 1.6.1.[45] & same DAHDI, instead of the FSK spill I get a line polarity reversal. Stutter dialtone is generated as expected. Has anyone else seen this? Is there anything special I need to do for 1.6.1 to make FSK MWI work? Thanks, --Barry

Hi I have problem with Asterisk an 12sp+ phone. Asterisk's skinny implementation doesn't correctly processes 'onhook' event from phone, so voice channel stays opened and no new calls can be received by phone. What i'm doing wrong? :) -- Denis Chapligin

...t's never convenient to restart the server. My question: how can i tell *why* it's not convenient to restart the server? It used to be some colleague left the receiver OffHook or something like that, but even when i'm fairly certain there's no activity on my pbx, all receivers are OnHook, Asterisk won't restart.
