Oldies but Goldies - Dovecot 1.2 and Sieve
Hi,
we still run dovecot 1.2.17 and upgrading is not planed for some time.
But I'm asked to install a sieve system to be used with SOGo soon.
What do I have to install / configure?
Is installing/configuring the dovecot-sieve-0.1.19 and
dovecot-managesieve-0.11.13 enough?
We still use mostly the default settings for imaps/pop3s.
And of course configure SOGo.
Thanks for any feedback.

[LLVMdev] RFC: LoopEditor, a high-level loop transform toolkit
Hi Michael,
+llvmdev,Hal,Nadav
For testing, I was currently thinking of a two pronged approach. Lit tests
as you suggest with a dummy pass, probably with command line options to
define what transform to do, and unit tests to test the delegate behaviour
and return values.
I'll try and produce a mega patch with at least the loop vectoriser moved
over, then split it up again after review.

OT - Software deployment
Hi all,
I have been fishing through the archives and have not found a lot of posts
about this that were not 'golden oldies.' Do you guys use anything other
than brute force to deploy software and updates to your client PCs? I would
be interested to know what you are using, whether you use it for initial OS
install, software deployment/upgrades, or other things, and roughly how much
it costs. Also how many PC...

[nut-commits] svn commit r2726 - in branches/windows_port: common drivers include
...require and overall there doesn't seem to be a
difference anymore between canonical and non-canonical. I'm not sure
if this will fly for all drivers. I foresee a challenging task to
verify that drivers still work. I can probably test the 'safenet'
driver, but what about the oldies that are still in the tree, but we
have not heard of being used lately?
Best regards, Arjen

Ignoring increment hint when maximized horz/vert
Here's a quick patch to have either horz or vert (instead of both) maximized windows honor the "ignore" option:

Lucid LTS: different Wine versions for 32 or 64 bits ?
...lo,
I 've been using Wine 1.2 wjth Ubuntu 10.04-LTS an a 64bit Asus laptop for almost one year.
In the beginning, everything worked OK (graphic refresh, focus, etc...). Now Wine works bad, I suppose some updates in Lucid do not suit Wine 1.2 (?). I tried XP mode, W98 mode (my applications are oldies ;-), but the behaviour seems bad in any case.
On this laptop, synaptic shows Wine 1.2 installed and unused packets to install 1.3.
I would like to shift to 1.3, but how do I backup Wine 1.2 (except for a complete image of my system) ?
I have an other PC, a 32bit Athlon desktop, running Ubuntu 10....

Please e-mail (not only post) the Forum Instructions URL
Am I just blind, or are there no links to the instructions, e.g. the
Search syntax or how to get back to a thread I started on RoR?
Or do those links, buttons, whatever only show / work in IE?
Thanks for any help; sorry if I can''t figure out something I should be
able to.

Joystick axis mapping issue (wine/linux)
Good day to you wine users
I've following problem, I've a cheap joystick which is recognized
as DragonRise Inc. - however many of them are I guess.
It's some china stuff which is each time labeled different but almost
always the same device (or so I've heard).
Everything works great except the joystick is recognized as being 7 axis
one - I really dont know why it does this.

hi,
is there a way, to create a stastic about listernes, mountpoints and
music tiltes?
I saw some cacti scripts, but i have no webserver installed on the
streamserver, so i would use only plain files, also a database could be
improving some things. So, how can i do this?

non-character search
I need to be able to search for certain symbol characters. For
example, I want the search for c++ to work. I try enclosing it in
quotes, but it seems to treat C and the pluses as two separate
characters to look for. Search for ++ alone seems to find documents
that don''t have any pluses in them. Why would that happen?
Thanks,
Carl

General Plotting Commands Help
I am rather new to R and struggling with the syntax. I am trying to do simple
plots and I can't get anything but errors. Specifically, I would like to
know how to plot 3D scatterplots and using polar coordinates.
So far I've tried installing the scatterplot3D package and have copied and
pasted example code into R but it still returns " "Error: could not find

NOLF2 - Registry key?
Glad to see the work that has progressed so far with wine, especially in
the area of DirectX implementation.
So, with that in mind I compiled a fresh copy of 20050830 and began
testing my games. Started with an oldie but a goodie, No One Lives
Forever 2. Usually I couldn't even get past the opening screen. This
time, the game attempts to launch, but then a window pops up and says:

ipchains - major newbie trap
Just a quick word - I spent two days trying to get Samba to work. The whole
problem was a lack of knowledge about ipchains (firewall). It was part of
the RH7.1 install package, and the medium security setting stops all tcp and
udp traffic for a lot of ports, including those needed for NetBIOS (137-139)
It is pretty easy to fix, the IPCHAINS-HOWTO is a good and humorous read,
and by the end of

Hello everyone,
