[LLVMdev] long double type on ARM
Dear LLVM members. I am compiling coreutils-7.4 package for ARM linux using LLVM 2.5 version. When i compiled 'od' program in coreutils package using LLVM 2.5, i could see the error message on llc processing. > llvm-gcc -emit-llvm ./od.c -c -o ./od.bc -other-options... > llc -march=arm ./od.bc -f -o ./od.s llc:

OpenOffice ods spreadsheets in R?
I would like to open OpenOffice (LibreOffice) .ods files in R. I've tried the ROpenOffice package from omegahat, but unfortunately, the read.ods() function attempts to use the values of the first column in a worksheet as row names, and thus does not allow duplicates in there (which, even more unfortunately, occur in my files). Also, the function does not allow to forward any other

a) t-tests on loess splines; b) linear models, type II SS for unbalanced ANOVA
Dear all, I have some questions regarding the validity an implementation of statistical tests based on linear models and loess. I've searched the R-help arhives and found several informative threads that related to my questions, but there are still a few issues I'm not clear about. I'd be grateful for guidance. Background and data set: I wish to compare the growth and metabolism

How to Calculate the Mean by Multiple Groups in R

[LLVMdev] long double type on ARM
Hi Jin-Gu Kang! It are possible that the problem you are experiencing have already been solved in the current llvm 2.6 release tree and the current svn trunk. So try using llc from llvm 2.6 release branch or llvm pre2.7 svn trunk! It would be helpful if you could open a bugreport for this issue and attach the problematic od.bc since we need a testcase from the bitcode that exposes the bug inorder

[LLVMdev] long double type on ARM
Unlike llvm itself, llvm-gcc needs to be configured for a particular target architecture. It looks like you're using a copy of llvm-gcc that was built to generate x86 code. howto import .xls and .ods
Hi, i want to import data from .ods and .xls files in R on a linux system. Seems it was a faq in the past, but i found only solutions for Windows. Is there a handy solution for linux? The best would be something like mytab <-read.ods(...) Any hints? Thanks a lot for reading so far, -- Jonas Stein <news at jonasstein.de>

How to Calculate the Mean by Multiple Groups in R
Hello, I have a data frame with different groups (Time, Target, Conc) and each entry has a triplicate value of the measurements OD and ODnorm. How can I merge the triplicates into a single mean value? I tried the following: ``` df = data.frame(Time=rep(1, 9), Well=paste("A", 1:9, sep=""), OD=c(666, 815, 815, 702, 739, 795, 657, 705, 663),

It's cool, it's exciting, and much thanks to Duncan. He announced RJava yesterday (or this morning?) on the R-devel list, and it's really worth it. http://www.omegahat.org/RSJava for more details. But it does mean that we can run Orca code directly within R, (without Thomas' socket connections) (and also means that we really need a "stop" button, since killing

[LLVMdev] long double type on ARM
That is from 2.5, and just because there is nothing special listed in config.gcc does not mean it doesn't work. For 2.5, the ARM port of llvm-gcc did not require a separate llvm-arm.cpp source file, so nothing needed to be added to config.gcc. It worked fine as far as I know. For 2.6, you will see that there are some ARM-related changes to config.gcc in llvm-gcc. On Sep 30, 2009,

Local delivery via deliver fails for 1 user in alias
Hi all, I'm a bit baffled. I have an OS X server 10.6.8 and everything was working fine. Now however I seem to be having some issues and I'm unable to find log entries to help point me to the error. I have an alias, sales at cirrusav.com, which forwards mail to myself and two others. This works fine most of the time, but on occasion messages are not delivered to one user. It is possible

7.1 new install halts on BTX error
I upgraded my 7.0 system to 7.1-RELEASE with freebsd-update only to find that it no longer boots correctly, instead crashing with a BTX backtrace. If I break to the loader prompt and use 'ls /boot', I also get a backtrace. A new install of 7.1 on this hardware using a separate SCSI card and drive array also leads to a BTX backtrace. I have copied this below as the first (most
