My users are complaining that their mail is dissappearing out of folders or if they go into a folder, the mail will be there one minute, the next it isn't. Anybody see this before...and if so..is there a fix? Hi dovecot-0.99.11-1.FC3.4.i386.rpm on FC3 when i create a user account with pop3 email i find that if i don't send and email to the account (so that sendmail creates the file under /var/spool/mail/testuser) where "testuser" is the users username. Hi is it possible to have the .imap directory and sub-directory located under the same directory as mbox users. i.e /var/spool/mail/%u is where mbox files are i would like to use /var/spool/maildir/%u/.imap reason being i do not want my users /home/username used for anything otherthan their website. how big do the files under .imap get? Hi Dovecot 1.0 stable on FC3 i see this in my logs from 1 user Oct 19 07:20:36 proteus2a dovecot(pam_unix)[2937]: authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty= ruser= rhost=1.2.3.4 user=testuser IP & user changed by me. at other times he has no issues. no other users are reporting this. could it be his ADSL is flaky or is there another scenario.
