Help with IF operator
Hi,
I am with a problem on how to do a comparison of values. My script is as
follows:
repeat{
cat("How many teams to use? (to end write 0) ")
nro<-scan(n=1)
if(nro==0)break
cat("write the", nro, "teams names \n")
teams<-readLines(n=nro)
if (teams[1]==teams[2)next
else print(teams)
}
On this example I only compare teams 1 name with teams 2 name, and if they
are the same the scrip starts again. If I had 10 teams how...

Longer synonym for R?
[This message is not always serious, but it addresses a real problem.]
A problem with R's present name is that it is not very well suited to
search engines, although Google at least seems to cope as long as you have
sufficient other terms to filter out Toys R Us. Initials remain a problem.
I suppose "R" is just too culty to do away with, but perhaps we could come
up with a longer

I have no idea if this question is to easy to be answered, but I?m starting

After that, I?d like to plot a cluster tree.

Nouveau kernel module exhausting CPU
...related to sleep state and power management of the driver.
The Bug:
When the computer is left on it's own to go to a power save mode X takes 100% CPU-time in its thread. A trace to X server shows this is caused by select-systemcall immediately returning when X is polling its FD's. The FD nro 12 is constantly indicating that there is data to read so X will never sleep. The FD 12 is a r/w socket connected via netlink to kernel's UEVENT.
Restarting X resets the problem to wait again for the sleep state. A new sleep will make the problem arice again.
Hardware:
I have Fermi nVidia g...

features.conf *1 Call Recording
Hi all.
I am attempting to setup Asterisk to allow me to press *1 while in a
call to use automon to record the call but have had absolutely no
success. Is there a trick to this?
In extensions.conf
[globals]
DYNAMIC_FEATURES=>automon
[default]
exten => 123,2,Dial(SIP/3000,,wW) ; wW allow one-touch recording
During the call, I press *1 but it records nothing.

dovecot 1.2.5 - can't create auth listener
Hi. I have version 1.1.11 working fine with multiple servers. When I upgrade
to 1.2.4 or 1.2.5 I keep getting an error 'can't create auth listener'
(address in use)
I have two ip addresses (lets call them 1.0.0.1 and 1.0.0.2).
Each ip address has it's own certificate and set of servers with custom
ports. I don't know how the configuration is supposed to work and it was a
lot

Is there any way to feed these to four mounts in ices to the encoders
with just one sound card?
I'm working on Debian linux, with Oss.
I can switch to FreeBSD, or what ever, with alsa, if necesary.

1024-bit RSA keys in danger of compromise
...l drop lower if one has the use of a
chip fab. It is a matter of public record that the NSA as well as the
Chinese, Russian, French, and many other intelligence agencies all
operate their own fabs.
Some may consider a price tag potentially reaching $1B prohibitive. One
should keep in mind that the NRO regularly launches SIGINT satellites
costing close to $2B each. Would the NSA have built a device at less
than half the cost of one of their satellites to be able to decipher the
interception data obtained via many such satellites? The NSA would have
to be derelict of duty to not have done so.

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
