/proc/net/dev counters
Hi
Maybe my problem is litle offtopic to this list , but maybe someone had
something similar like this , and have some good solution .
Ok, I''ve have router with four intel e1000 pci-x(2x100Mhz/2x133Mhz) nics that push
about 200Mbit/s ,
and I''m using nload for realtime traffic monitoring. Everything was great
until I''ve updated kernel to 2.6.17.13 . After update nload is showing
some crazy values .
I''ve tried to get counters from /proc/net/dev (like nload).
root@kaermorhen:~# while true; do cat /proc/net/dev|grep eth0; sleep 1;...

Outlook 2010 very slow when using IMAP - are there any tweaks?
...ks that could be made within Outlook to speed it up or in Dovecot
to work better with Outlook?
I guess one could get sidetracked into the argument of mdbox vs.
Maildir from my config however, Thunderbird is really fast and
transfers large amounts of data really easily. Reaches round 130Mbps
using nload performance grapher, while Outlook only manages ~50kbps
but spikes at 2-3Mbps on occassion.
Can anyone offer any guidence or assistance in this matter??
Actually wherever I run Dovecot, including my servers at home, it is
fast and reliable. Yes I know MS is the polar opposite of anything
worth...

Hi!
Is there an easy way to add to the scree-plot labels to each value pertaining to the cumulative proportion of explained variance?
Thanks and a happy new year

Please Help. Samba as PDC and printing
Hi !
I hate to do this but I'm close to get crazy about printing with samba.
I have a samba server ver 2.2.5 running as a domain controler.
The domain logon works fine, I've created the computer account by hand for
testing and it is great. The problem is with printing.
I've created the [print$] share all the directories in this share like
W32ALPHA, W32MIPS, W32PPS, W32X86,

Addendum to wishlist bug report #10931 (factanal) (PR#12754)
...yself. I would be very grateful if
they'd find their way into a release.
I corrected a small error in John Fox's code and made another change
that enables factor correlations not only for promax, but also for the
rotation methods in package GPArotation.
The changes are against R-devel, downloaded on September 9th 2008.
Changes are indicated by comments from John Fox and me. I also changed
factanal.Rd accordingly, this is commented too.
My bug report is at
http://bugs.r-project.org/cgi-bin/R/wishlist?id=10931;user=guest
