Volume Size
Okay, I must be a total Nerf-herder, but I am trying to find info as
to how big a volume samba can actually share - eg if I have a 10TB
volume, can I share it via SMB (assuming everything else is ok)?
Specifically for samba 3.0.10...
No matter what and where I search I can't find a damn thing!
Can anyone here shed some light?
Thanks,
Daniel.

Legal sample rates
Hi all,
I'm trying to use the FLAC C libraries to encode audio.
I'm doing something like:
FLAC__seekable_stream_encoder_set_channels(pflac->fse, 1);
FLAC__seekable_stream_encoder_set_sample_rate(pflac->fse, 11025);
FLAC__seekable_stream_encoder_set_bits_per_sample(pflac->fse, 8);
if ((bps = FLAC__seekable_stream_encoder_init(pflac->fse)) !=

Re: Font issue in Half-Life 2 via Wine 1.3.0
Of course, the side(WOW Gold (http://www.storeingame.com/)) effect of this change is that it's a huge hit to leveling (RuneScape Gold (http://www.rsfarming.com))death knights. Preliminary tests suggest that blood is a lot, lot closer to the other trees in survivability now, and I'm back to needing to do a decent amount of eating even as a leveling blood (Aion Gold

CentOS 5 grub boot problem
...nd vdb1 to files, and diff the files,
they're identical. So they're both pointing to the same LBA on each
disk for stage 2.
It really shouldn't matter though, whether this three step jump method
is used, or grub stage 1 is written to each MBR gap and from there to
stage 2.
I might try nerfing the parted and grub stage 1 bootloaders on disk2,
and see if the grub shell (which I should still get to from disk 1)
will let me install grub directly on these two drives properly.

Re: Virtual gaming/workstation desktops using KVM VGA passthrough?
GizmoChicken,
Read that there's a problem with Nvidia GeForce GTX cards and both Xen and
KVM, like it's not on a Nvidia whitelist, I'm a bit concerned. From the
ArchLinux thread I've seen some success with Nvidia GeForce GTX cards, this
is confusing. The bit I read here was:

liboggz: use ogg_int64_t instead of C99 int64_t for the benefit of you-can-guess-who
A widely used platform doesn't bother to have C99
integer types, so this allows building with it.

Re: Still can't install from NanoCorp
As you can tell, (WOW Gold (http://www.storeingame.com/))Death Strike's been nerfed pretty hard in the health department. This isn't completely surprising, as it allows blood tanking to scale properly with boss damage, healing a given percentage of the damage, which should make it more predictable and easier to balance. In theory, there's also some strategy involved in using it now, if

Traffic Shaping multiple incoming broadband sources?
Hi, complete newb and I apologise for it.
I have a setup where my linux box has multiple broadband connection where I am routing certain things over certain interfaces, currently 2 links eth2 is a 1500/256 and eth3 is a 512/512, eth0 is the link to the LAN for users. What I am trying to do is traffic shape the information going out eth0 to the local users by the interface the traffic arrived

body search very slow since upgrade from 1.0.15 to 1.2.10
Did you mislead me Timo? You said search in 1.1+ is faster than 1.0. I'm
seeing approximately 20x *slower* search times in 1.2.10.
Via Thunderbird, a full body search of my 11,000+ message IMAP folder hosted
by 1.0.15 used to take less than 10 seconds. Since upgrading to 1.2.10 the
search is taking over 3 minutes, the imap process servicing the client

This is getting very dangerous. We cannot take our flamewar to outside mailing lists without making a complete fool of ourselves. Arc, would you please refrain from doing so in future and rather come to an internal agreement beforehand?
Arc, there are a few things you have missed:
The discussion on OggPCM2 was friendly and constructive and there were no flame wars and the spec got much further

Thanks for the answer.
So data are stored in little-endian format on the WAVE file. But have I to encode in big endian format or little endian is ok?!
Thanks
