Volume Size
Okay, I must be a total Nerf-herder, but I am trying to find info as
to how big a volume samba can actually share - eg if I have a 10TB
volume, can I share it via SMB (assuming everything else is ok)?
Specifically for samba 3.0.10...
No matter what and where I search I can't find a damn thing!

Hi all,
I'm trying to use the FLAC C libraries to encode audio.
I'm doing something like:
FLAC__seekable_stream_encoder_set_channels(pflac->fse, 1);
FLAC__seekable_stream_encoder_set_sample_rate(pflac->fse, 11025);
FLAC__seekable_stream_encoder_set_bits_per_sample(pflac->fse, 8);

That said, the blood (Metin2 Gold (http://www.zyy.com/Metin2-Yang/))death knight still has a hell of a lot more survival tools, such as the Rune Tap, which still isn't a slouch even post-nerf, and the blood parasites. Whether this nerf will chase some people back to (Buy WOW Gold (http://www.zyy.com/))frost and unholy for leveling, we'll see, but blood looks a lot less clear cut as a leveling option now.

CentOS 5 grub boot problem
...nd vdb1 to files, and diff the files,
they're identical. So they're both pointing to the same LBA on each
disk for stage 2.
It really shouldn't matter though, whether this three step jump method
is used, or grub stage 1 is written to each MBR gap and from there to
stage 2.
I might try nerfing the parted and grub stage 1 bootloaders on disk2,
and see if the grub shell (which I should still get to from disk 1)
will let me install grub directly on these two drives properly.

...GTX cards and both Xen and

ArchLinux thread I've seen some success with Nvidia GeForce GTX cards, this
is confusing. The bit I read here was:

their cards to stop passthrough, attempting to force you to pay for a
special card that allows it, costing in the neighborhood of like 2000$ for

OK I did that and this works.

liboggz: use ogg_int64_t instead of C99 int64_t for the benefit of you-can-guess-who
A widely used platform doesn't bother to have C99
integer types, so this allows building with it.

Re: Still can't install from NanoCorp
As you can tell, (WOW Gold (http://www.storeingame.com/))Death Strike's been nerfed pretty hard in the health department. This isn't completely surprising, as it allows blood tanking to scale properly with boss damage, healing a given percentage of the damage, which should make it more predictable and easier to balance. In theory, there's also some strategy involved in u...

Samba version 3.0.25b-1.1.cc
I cant seem to transfer files over 40gb from a windows machine --> samba share.
as far as socket options im using
socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=8192 SO_SNDBUF=8192 SO_KEEPALIVE
Is there any other tweaks I can use to help make this system more reliable?
I get random errors.."network path not found" or something similar..

Traffic Shaping multiple incoming broadband sources?

I have probably made some basic mistake I should be smacked around the head and shoulders repeatedly with a nerf bat for, but I need to ask what i have missed.
Or maybe a better way of designing the traffic shaping rules?

body search very slow since upgrade from 1.0.15 to 1.2.10
....361s
user 0m0.204s
sys 0m0.140s
grep takes less than half a second, yet dovecot 1.2.10 takes 3 minutes for
the same search? Actually grep is searching the entire file including
headers, so it's doing more work than the imap process. Something is
*SERIOUSLY* wrong here.
Did I somehow nerfed something in dovecot.conf that's causing this? I
deleted all the index files as per the upgrade instructions. However,
checking the directories shows they're apparently rebuilt:

Ambisonics und OggPCM
This is getting very dangerous. We cannot take our flamewar to outside mailing lists without making a complete fool of ourselves. Arc, would you please refrain from doing so in future and rather come to an internal agreement beforehand?
Arc, there are a few things you have missed:
The discussion on OggPCM2 was friendly and constructive and there were no flame wars and the spec got much further

Can you attach it as a file to the list? If the list won't accept the
attachment, put it up on fpaste.org or pastebin or something like that.
MUA's tend to nerf the output so don't paste it into an email.

Thanks for the answer.
So data are stored in little-endian format on the WAVE file. But have I to encode in big endian format or little endian is ok?!
Thanks
