Error: evaluation nested too deeply
Hi guys, I have a code in R and it was work well but when I decrease the epsilon value (indicated in the code) , then I am getting this error Error: evaluation nested too deeply: infinite recursion / options(expressions=)? any help please y = 6.8; w = 7.4; z = 5.7; muy = 7; muw = 7; muz = 6; sigmay = 0.8; sigmaz = 0.76; sigmaw = 0.3; betayx = 0.03; betayz = 0.3; betayw = 0.67 s = c(3.2,0.8) em = function(W,s) { a= 1/2*(1/s[2]^2+betayx^2/sigmay^2); b= (y-muy+betayx*s[1]-betayz*(z-muz)-betayw*(w-muw))*betayx/sigmay^2+s[1]/s[2]^2; c=(1/2)*((y-muy+betayx*s[1]-betayz*(z-muz)-b...

pmnorm: probabilites don't sum up to 1

I know two ?solutions? to this problem so far. However, neither of them satisfies me: 1. I...

dividing B-trees
...el to the next level above, which Richard and I thought was a missed opportunity. But I tried doing this for higher (if the root is the top) levels, but it doesn't work because there may be a lower sorting key which is the wrong side of the truncated key. For example: | mat | muz | / | \ / | \ | | | V V V [... mad] [matter ... muscat] [muzzle ...] <--(keys in leaf blocks) If we try to truncate a key to separate "mat" and "muz&...

Connecting MQ from Rails ??
Hi all, I want to Connect to IBM MQ from Rails/Ruby, can it be done? and get the messages from the Queue, then i want to use this message in ruby/rails. Is there a direct way of doing the above job?? If so any packages are available? If there is not a way currently, and any thoughts of how we can do the above job indirectly through some other means or round about ways or workarounds can be

How search engine friendly are RoR sites?
I am a total RoR virgin, and took my first steps this weekend into the Ruby world. A lot of sites I create need to be as SEO friendly as possible, particularly for google. Before I delve any further, can anyone tell me how friendly the dynamic URLs or if there is the usual rewrite mod for rugby? Thanks Mike -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

How do you *nix users test for IE quirks?
I have recently switched over to a mac and am not sure how to test my latest project on IE6/7. I can start up parallels and test the live site, but that will be rather painful to make updates until everything is just right. Not to long ago I found something, ies4osx, but it didn''t seem to work on my machine for loading sites through localhost. Thanks for the advice. -- Posted via

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking
