I was thinking of using the AIC test to compare all models and pick the best
one.
The model looks like this :

Thanks for your help

Mutliple backups into a signle dir
Hello.
I am trying to make use of rsync for backup purposes. I want to use it with
the -b switch: it renames older FILE to FILE~ instead of replacing it with
the newer version. This way, only the newest and the second most recent
versions of a file are saved. I want to have more versions.
One approach to this can be inpired by --backup-dir operation. I'd
rather extend the backup

Which IP adresses are registered when having mutliple interfaces
Hi!
I'm running Samba 1.9.18p7 on a machine with two interfaces, so I configured:
; multiple interfaces
interfaces =x.y.z.7/255.255.0.0 a.b.c.d/255.255.0.0
; paranoia setting: to be REALLY sure which host name samba uses as NETBIOS name
netbios name = XYZ001
This one has to register with a WINS server on one of the nets, so I configured:
; be a WINS client

mutliple default routes, rp_filter and martians
I have a theory on the cause of a problem but it is still only a theory.
I wonder if anyone here can confirm.
I have a multi-isp configuration with a multi-path default route to each
ISP, equally weighted.
I am seeing, periodically, traffic dropped due to martian detection and
errors logged on inbound traffic, but at other times, that same exact
traffic will be allowed, no errors.

Mutliple Line 'Buttons'
New to Asterisk's and loving it so far.
Does anyone know of any functionality in Asterisk's (or more so
phones) that allows line numbers to be lit up like a switch board on a
phone?
So that someone can page another person with 'call on line 3'. I'm
not really a telco guy and are still learning terminology for things.
Any idea's?

mutliple ISP's cont.
Hi Paul,
thanks for your answers.
> 3 DSL (ppp0,ppp1,ppp2) providers from the same ISP. (which means they have
> the same gateway, but different static ISP''s)
Do they actually have the same peer address?
The connection is pppoe, the gateway is assigned by the ISP and the 3 ADSL
connections next hop is to the same Router at the ISP.
The gateway is the same for all 3 connections

Merging list of dataframes with reshape merge_all
Hi,
I'd like to merge mutliple dataframes from a list of dataframes by some common
columns. The approach for simply merging 2 dataframes is working with:
merge(df1,df2,by=c("col1","col2","col3"),all=TRUE)
For mutliple dataframes in a list I try to use the merge_all command
from the package reshape...

Retrieving Mutliple Records using find_by_*
I was hoping that AR''s find_by_* magic methods would help me retrieve
multiple items somewhat like the following:
names_to_find = [''Larry'', ''Moe'', ''Curly'']
found_people = Person.find_by_name(names_to_find)
Is there a way to accomplish this using find_by_* (or even find(:all)
using some sort of conditions) or must I resort to SQL

Putting a password on the international call
...better security, how can I put a password on
the international calls (if the user dialed the
international call, then it will be asked for password
to send the call outside)?
Can this password read from the CDR file to know whom
did these international calls (using which password?
As I might have mutliple passwords).

Bilal

Applying a function
Hi,
I need help writing a function
I capture seal pups mutliple times during the lactation season in order to
monitor their growth rate. When I release them, the recovery (mother-pup)
time is not the same for all individuals. I want to know if individuals that
recover their mother the fastest are the ones with the highest growth rates.
So, I noted...

Re: [Qemu-devel] Effect of qemu-img convert -m and -W options
...tch was with reading a QCOW2
from an NFS (with libnfs) and writing to a RAW iSCSI Target (with libiscsi).
Both having no cache on the local host.
Afaik all writes to the same QCOW2 serialize because of the s->lock that
is held during the write. So its not suprising that there is no benefit from
mutliple threads as long as reading from the RAW file involves no delay.
Which is likely due to readahead of the OS.

Mutliple custom facts not showing in facter
Hi,
I''ve noticed that defining multiple facts in one file is possible, and
puppet can make use of them correctly, but when trying to call with facter
--puppet they are not shown, do I need something special to make them work
as any other single custom fact?
Master is running 2.6.7
This is a custom fact with two facts in it:

Rails Wiki content not appearing
Hi everyone,
I apologize in advance for the newbie question, but I haven''t been able to
view any content on the Rails Wiki pages. All I get are the Table of
Contents and the Discussions. I am able to view content when I click on
"View Page Source", but obviously this is not ideal.
I''m using Chrome16 and Firefox8.
Thanks,

Problems Converting from Cyrus to Dovecot (cyrus2dovecot)

Integrating with Toshiba Strata DK40i KSU
...l I log in and do some 'soft hangup'
commands.
The second problem is more of a Toshiba problem (or rather my lack of
knowledge of). I hope that perhaps somebody might be able to help me? I
want to have a way to ring multiple extensions if sombody, say, hits
zero. The Toshiba can ring mutliple extensions for fresh new incoming
calls, but once answered I can't seem to 'unanswer' the call to get it
ringing at multiple stations (we have no designated reception phone that
is staffed 100% of the time).
Thanks!
