Digium TDM400P in Soekris net5501-70?
...ion is whether anyone knows if the Digium TDM400P should be compatible with the 3.3V PCI slot in the Soekris Net5501-70 box? Soekris' description for the net5501-70 says, in part, it has support for "one or two low-power standard PCI board" I see on my Digium card that it requires a molex connector supplying voltage. The Net5501 has a small 4-pin molex header on the board, I wonder if a small to regular sized molex power cable would do the job to supply this card. If the Soekris isn't expected to work well, are there any mainstream small form factor/low-power solutions for a So...

Query about tdm410 cards
Hi recently bought a soekris net5501 and a tdm410 to place in there. I am having some issues attaching 12V power to the card via the molex card - basically the box for the motherboard is too small. I have read up about a PWR2400b and it seems to use 2wire pin, I am guessing to connect to P8 just behind the molex connector on the tdm410. can any one here confirm this, or have any info on the pwr2400b - ie how it connects to the cards...

Rsync and open files
I didn't see this answered in the FAQ, and it's important to one of my application owners. How does RSYNC handle open or write in process files? Thank you! server recommentation (unique requirements)
Howdy. I've been having trouble finding a fairly modern server that meets the following requirements: - Molex power connectors (don't want to use the Digium FXS power supply) - 4 PCI slots, one full-length (TDM2400P, 2xT100P, additional NIC) - dual power supplies - preferably dual CPUs >= 1GHz - preferably rack-mountable (3-4RU) - CentOS-friendly We'd also like to stay away from older HP server...

Zaptel FXS Cards - Station Distance
...o! In the near future, I'll be deploying an asterisk system that will have (in addition to many SIP handsets) four FXS handsets. Is there a known limitation to the length of cabling that can be used between a Digium/Openvox/Sangoma FXS card and the end station? I understand the card will need a molex power connector plugged in to provide extra voltage. With traditional phone systems, I have not seen any distance limitations. I would just like to verify that the FXS ports are able to provide sufficient power for longer runs. Thank you!!! Tim Nelson Systems/Network Support Rockbochs Inc.

FXS, Power and Sangoma
...(8V : 72V)! > Mar 31 14:11:54 phone kernel: [ 4761.246937] wanpipe1: Module 1: Did > you remember to plug in the power cable? So I disconnect other power devices in the box (Dell Optiplex GX270) such as the Zip drive and CDROMs, but no luck. Then I took an external power supply with molex connector (http://www.coolerguys.com/840556029977.html or http://www.cablesonline.com/mo4inpotoacp.html) and tried that with still the same thing. How much power does this card need? The AC adapter puts out up to 2 Amps. Sangoma support is only telling me to get a bigger power supply an...

tdm400p and dell 2600 poweredge
Hi all: I've been developing and testing on a tdm400p card and it's been going well. As you probably know, the tdm400p needs an ide power supply, but the dell poweredge 2600 that this card is destined for eventually has all the power supplied on the backplane with no ide cables. The thing is, on the motherboard in the server, there is an ide ribbon connector, and beside that, something

TDM410P & dahdi driver == no lights?
...ahdi. Everything seems to be working, EXCEPT there are no lights on the TDM410P! I guess I can ignore that the lights aren't lit up, because it seems to be functioning as expected (I can dial out and receive incoming calls)...but it's disconcerting that the lights aren't on. Yes, the Molex power connector is connected (although I think that's only needed by FXS modules). I've tried google searches but haven't found anything mentioning this odd behavior. Is this expected? Many thanks, ~Brian Henning ------------------------------------------------------ Bria...

Is it mandatory to give power supplytoTDM400Pcard
No I got confused....yes they are FXO modules with POTS lines coming from bell attached. The only thing I can think of is that since the card supports 3.3v or 5v PCI slots that maybe on a 3.3v slot it requires the other connection all the time because it really does need the 5v and is just not picky about where it comes from. -Jonathan -----Original Message----- From:

APC Back UPS and Best Power FERRUPS?
Lately I got (used) an APC Back UPS Pro 1000 and Back UPS NS 1080. I got an ethernet-to-USB cable from another UPS, but the Pro isn't detected (with usbhid-ups.) I haven't tried the NS yet but it seems to not be on the list though looks just like the Pro. Some months ago I was discussing setup of a Ferrups 700VA.  I got it to work only with a command in rc.local, but not automatically

How to load the driver of TDM400P card!
Hi! I have just bought the X100P and TDM400P cards to install on my computer to implement the PBX. I also downloaded the newest softwares asterisk_ver0.5.0, libpri_ver0.4.0, and zaptel_ver0.7.0) to install on my computer (Red Hat Linux 8.0). All packages are compiled well. When I use "modprobe" to load drivers (modprobe zaptel, modprobe wcfxo, modprobe wcfxs), the first two (zaptel,

TDM04B Dead?
Hi, I just received in the mail my TDM04B card and put it in the computer, now the computer won't even show the video card bios or the post screen. From the digium website I could not find any specific requirements for the pci card, like 32 or 64 bit slot. The motherboard for the computer I put it in is an Asus A7V333 with PCI 2.2 compliant slots. I am thinking that maybe I just got a dud
