1.0.2b7 misrenders nested divs with attributes
Howdy,
Joey Hess reported that Markdown 1.0.2b7 does not render the following
correctly:
<div class="inlinepage">
<div class="toggleableend">
foo
</div>
</div>
It renders it as follows:
<div class="inlinepage">

</div>
<p></div></p>
The problem is that it uses a

"Funny" index buffer transfers (was: Bug 64323] New: Severe misrendering in Left 4 Dead 2)
Hello Christoph,
I was looking at bug 64323[1] over the weekend as to why this case works
under nvc0+ hardware and does not under nv50. Here are some of the
things I've noticed:
* nvc0 uses immediate(s) for VERTEX_BEGIN_GL/VERTEX_END_GL
* nvc0 is more consistent for doing pushbuffer space checks
* nvc0 uses dirty tracking in set_index_buffer()
* nvc0 uses "VERTEX_DATA push mode"

Text sometimes missing on NV18 based laptop
Hi,
On my NV18 based laptop I experience artifacts related to text
(however, 2D performance is really great these days):
- With grayscale AA text is sometimes missing, often visible on the XFCE desktop
- With subpixel (rgb) AA, even non-text related occur (icons are
misrendered, ...)
I've reported the issues here:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81283
With noaccel it works fine, however it is annoyingly slow.
Is there anything I could try to track these issues down?
Best regards, Clemens

Trouble on kernel
Hi there,
Sometimes my computer crashes since i use now ubuntu 13.10 with

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: Acknowledge DMA_VTX_PROTECTION PGRAPH interrupts
...he value read is not 4, and
the current approach might not be the correct one.
To test this, modify mesa/progs/trivial/vbo-drawrange.c, defining
ELTOBJ to 1 and replacing indices with huge out of bounds integers.
Without this patch, the GPU and/or kernel should lock up.
With this patch, it should misrender as expected but not lock up.
The errors are still logged since they are useful for development.
This has been tested on NV49 and may not work on other cards.
To find out how things work on other cards, run the aforementioned
test using the blob with mmiotrace and grep for a read of the PGRAPH...

Synchronization mostly missing?
...hould be used by the kernel
driver as the bo->sync_obj implementation.
This will delay destruction of the buffers, and thus prevent
reallocation of them, and artifacts, without synchronizing rendering.
I'm not sure why this hasn't been noticed before though.
Is everyone getting randomly misrendered OpenGL or is my machine
somehow more prone to reusing buffers?
What do you think? Is the analysis correct?

I'm not going to do that, because I really not that competent for that, even
if i know about c programming.
I also think that this can cause missrendering, and not crashes, but it
also seems
that there aren't stored any messages on the crash, maybe it crashes
