pictures printed upside down and mirorred
Hi all,
one of my applications (Breezebrowser) runs fine under wine (it's
a digital picture cataloging system), but when I want to make
prints, either thumbnails or a single picture, the pictures are
printed upside down and mirorred. So I have to turn the paper 180
degrees and look thru against light, which is somewhat confusing.
The preview print on screen is OK! Also the print is OK if I run
Breezebrowser under VMware.
I have no such problems with jpg's included in a Word document,

How can i send the same traffic to 2 different interface
Hi! I am making some tests here, and i wanna miror all the
traffic going to a ip from one interface to another ip.
example:
all packets going to 64.223.167.100 should be transmitted by
ppp0 to internet and by eth2 to the adress 192.168.1.100.
Someone know how can i do it using iptables or ip route/ip

corrupt PACKAGES.gz?
Is it just me, or did a corrupt PACKAGES.gz file get installed in the
bin/windows/contrib/3.2 directory of CRAN mirrors recently? gzfile()
complains about it and Cygwin's gzip cannot decompress it. I tried the
following
repos <- "https://cran.rstudio.com"
v <- "3.2"
pkgs.gz <- paste(sep="/", repos, "bin/windows/contrib", v,

bind blocking rsync
Hi Guys,
Here is the setup.
LVS NAT cluster with director (dir), backup director (bdir), and two
realservers (rs1 and rs2) running apache webserver.
SSH DSA key-based authentication set up between rs1 and rs2 in order to
facilitate automated (via cron) mirorring of htdocs directories. All
works fine untill I decide to host DNS on the same cluster. As soon as I
start BIND on rs1, ssh no longer

Installing packages from folder on the computer
i am able to install zip files of packages from local zip files using the
file.choose() for the package argument in install.packages() function in R
console and also from the Packages menu>install from local zip files. But
if there are many packages to install (say >15 or 20), then i have to factor
in dependencies of 15-20 packages which may be more than 100 or 200 packages

zpool import -f rpool hangs
I had the rpool with two sata disks in the miror. Solaris 10 5.10
Generic_141415-08 i86pc i386 i86pc
Unfortunately the first disk with grub loader has failed with unrecoverable
block write/read errors.
Now I have the problem to import rpool after the first disk has failed.
So I decided to do: "zpool import -f rpool" only with second disk, but it''s
hangs and the system is
