Mininum number of resamples required to do BCa bootstrap?
I'm using R 2.15.1 on a 64-bit machine with Windows 7 Home Premium and package 'boot'. I've found that using a number of bootstrap resamples in boot() that is less than the number of data results in a fatal error. Once the number of resamples meets or exceeds the number of data, the error disappears. Sample problem (screwy subscripted syntax is a relic of edited down a more

multi sync (>2 servers) + selective sync + trigger
Hi all, I've been researching ways to replicate mail across multiple mailstores and have a few questions. Synching 2 mailstores (M1 & M2) via dsync works fine. I want to add a 3rd and 4th (M3 & M4) server to also be synced. Multi-sync (>2 servers): 1) How do I tell M1 and/or M2 to also sync to M3 and/or M4? Selective sync: 2) How do I sync specific domains to specific

quality of password protection
We need a solution for our samba server about password regulations. We want to force the user to change the password in a defined timetable and to give the password a defined minimum of length. Do we need a special software modul or is there an another possibility in connection with Suse 9.2 and Sambaserver 3.0923? O. M?ller

properly escaping special characters in AAF?
For most cases, I''ve got search working in Rails as follows: ## controller: term = params[:search][:term] @results = MyModel.find_by_contents "#{term}*" The ''*'' character is appended to the search term so that searches match anything that begins with ''term''. For the most part, this is great, but let''s say term is equal to

BIG Samba howto for debian only.
Hi everybody, I made a pretty complete howto for samba on debian servers. This howto covers samba + ldap + cups + recycle bin + samba-vscan + phpldapadmin + ACL + Extended Attributes. this howto is also based on the idealx howto If you do this setup, you should be able to use the NT4 Usermanager, setup Point en Print Printing. set rights from explorer etc. other nice tools is ldapadmin (
