APC BR1500LCD
Hi gang, I have the
APC BR1500LCD [1]
and would like to know if NUT can handle it. The compatibility list
[2] does not show it but I thought that perhaps it would fit in as
some other unit. Does anyone else have this unit?

Turn on UPS via USB
...ady, would you mind if we added this to the DDL? The output of upsrw would be useful for completeness. Also, if you know any of the values from upsc are incorrect, we can note that. For instance, I'm assuming that "battery.date" is incorrect, and the real dates are under "battery.mfr.date" and "ups.mfr.date". Other reports: http://new.networkupstools.org/ddl/APC/

I think the naming should be changed to propose both:
- battery.date.mfr: Battery manufacturing date
- battery.date.change: Battery change date
Any comments?

Wrong battery.date variable value [APC, usbhid-ups]
...log /var/log/system.log | grep -i ups" output: https://pastebin.com/QxXLqEcH
Hi Kevin,
The key points here are the usbhid-ups driver (versus the serial APC driver), a serial number that appears to be more recent than some of the correct values in the DDL, and that this looks like the battery.mfr.date matches the value from apcupsd.
Is the ups.mfr.date value incorrect as well, or has the battery been changed at least once in 2016?
battery.date: 2001/09/25
battery.mfr.date: 2016/05/11

CyberPower DX600E won't switch up after power is back
Hello
I have an issue with an CyberPower DX600E,
it doesn't switch up when the power is back; after it has been
unloaded;
is it because of one of those variables ?
regards
Franck
