anyone using metermaid / parked call BLF?
Hi all,
I'm using 1.2.9.1, with the "metermaid" patches to show parking spot
status on Snom BLF lights.
I see from http://www.asterisk.org/node/97 that the metermaid code has
changed substantially since 1.2.9.1.
Is anyone successfully using the "new" metermaid functionality in 1.4.x?
I'd like to hear any good/bad experie...

metermaid patch
I'd like to be able to use my Snom 360 LEDs to view the status of
parking slots, so I'm trying to install the "metermaid" patch
(http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=5779). Can someone help an svn
newbie figure out how to install this patch? I've done the following:
svn checkout http://svn.digium.com/svn/asterisk/team/oej/metermaids
cd metermaids
make clean
make
but I get this error:

Question Regarding Visual Park Functionality - Hardware/Software
Hello List!
I am hoping someone may be able to assist with the following feature I am
looking to implement:
I would like to use a visual park function if possible, here's how I see it
working....
-> Call comes into caller A
-> Caller A places the call in orbit (or park) by dialing 700
-> A message is then sent to illuminate a line on each of the phones in this
office indicating a

VIA EPIA DeadLock Issues
...one else is having similar issues.
My Config (have multiple systems all running the same hardware with the same problem)
VIA EPIA ML6000
1GB RAM
80GB HDD
Various Digium Cards (T1 and TDM cards)
Trixbox 1.2.2 (though running stock asterisk code)
Asterisk Versions 1.2.12 - 1.2.14 - with and without metermaid patch
Problem seems to happen more on systems that use parking lots. The system will run for around 24 hours or so fine, and then mysteriously, without any errors leading up to it, will stop being able to send calls to the chan_sip. System from that point on reports the following in the logs....

call parking "hint"
Hi,
Is it possible to use the hint priority to allow call parking slots to
be monitored on (for example) Snom indicator lamps? How do you refer to
the slots (i.e., what is the "channel") in the hint?

parking as a feature in features.conf. I then set the '*' key to use the
parking feature, and remapped the services key to '*'. I have a patch for
this, if you want it.
Now I need to do my part and test out the new metermaid feature in Olle's
test-this-branch ;-)

Shared Line Appearances in 1.4
Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience implementing Shared Line Appearances in asterisk 1.4?
I am currently using SNOM phones with the metermaid patch, but I would like to see if the new functionality works better..
The examples in sla.conf don't really explain how its all supposed to work (ie trunks & stations etc..)
I've looked everywhere for some decent documentation with no luck. Anyone else noticing this ?

Non automated call parking
>From discussions with the receptionist staff, this is what we need:
X number of buttons for parking slots.
These buttons should be lit when a call is parked there.
When on a call, just pushing an unlit button will park the call. (The do not want to hit hold, transfer, etc.)
Hitting Transfer and the button would most likely be OK.
To pick up a call, they can push the parking slot button.

Asterisk 1.2.37 + BLF + ParkedCalls + SPA962
Greetings all.
First off, thank you for your time on this. I have spent literally 12
hours searching every forum and article I can find, and I'm going
cross-eyed, so I need to bother everyone with this.
I am running * 1.2.37, and I am trying to get the hints working, so I
can turn one of my SPA962's LED's red when someone parks a call.
I have used Button #3 on my SPA962 to

Lamps on Snom phones
Hello
Happy New Year to all!!
I've just completed porting from Asterisk 1.2 to 1.4. I did this by
doing a clean install on a new box, and moving over configuration and
scripts where needed. All went surprisingly well!
Anyway, one lingering issue is that the function key "lamps" on our Snom
phones have all stopped working! We're using a mix of Snom 290/320/360
phones and
