dtrace doesn''t trace some functions
Hello,
I''m trying to debug an issue with rpc.metad on Solaris 10, basecally I
believe the failure path is
- svc_init
-- check_sys
--- check_host
---- strcmp(hostname, mynode())
It seems that for some reason hostname and mynode didn''t match then I
would like to use dtrace to show the argument of the strcmp
However the dtrace pid provider can''t trace functions

Hi Guys,
i have a problem getting id mapping to work as it should. My setup is as

ok i admit this statement came as a surprise for me.
cmml is about metadate/annotations, how can it be replaced
by KATE ( which is mainly about subtitles as far as i can see?

chopped audio problem
I do use metadate since i need people to see the titles.
I use livecast in mixer mode.
The chopping starts right away
I don't use VBR (I commented it out at least). The mp3's are made with XING audiocatalyst (for windows) so I don't really know. Sorry.

[LLVMdev] Parallel Loop Metadata
...for a final pre-commit review?
I think so. Pekka's patch from Jan 31st looks good to me. The is bug in the metadata handling in the vectorizer that we don't check that the load/store annotation matches the loop metadata.

My inclination to prefer #1 is due to its simplicity. But, if #1 does not work because it creates a correctness problems then #2 is the only option that is left on the table.

Unfortunately. :-(
Does your reply mean you agree that option 2) should be taken?
In case you do, how should we proceed? Should Pekka submit his patch for
a final pre-commit review?
If option 2) is OK, Paul could also try to produce this metadate from
his #pragma ivdep parser.

features being kicked around on linux-fs-devel for ext2 will be merged right

chopped audio problem
Hi,
I use liveice/icecast on a linux box redhat 6 (2.2.18) and my problem is that the streamed audio gets chopped -on the LAN!!! The audio is encoded in 32kbps and I have a 512kbps/512kbps connection, so it should be enough to stream several connections at once. It sounds just like when a cd gets dirty or scracthed on the back. Anyway, it seems to go away if you can endure the terrible sound for

TAG-mess
...ange the Winamp
plugin's properties all the time.)
All this additional information that is useful for classical music, but
hardly anything else, should stay in the "my custom tags"-drawer. We
could discuss this again when we have XML metadata in OGG files. Players
supporting this XML metadate might have "browser windows" displaying the
content in a well-formatted and customizeable way. Having some more
things standardized at that point could be neat, but it'd be pointless
now. IMO.
