Samba upgrade issue . . .
look : winbind depends on samba (= 2:4.1.18+dfsg-3~inverse1); however:
>2:4.1.18+dfsg-3~inverse1
so mixed setup of ubuntu with inverse packages of samba.
You need to use the inverse packages of samba to keep openchange working.
I suggest you set your package pinning.
OR !
remove the inverse : winbind version and install the ubuntu version.

Louis

Openups patch proposal
Hello,
I have an openups2 ups. It works very well with nut, except two things:
1) It keeps sending a 'libusb_get_string: invalid argument' message to
the log;
2) It does not report any command.
Following
http://nut-upsdev.alioth.debian.narkive.com/bmJyFFkO/libusb-get-string-invalid-argument,
I was able to fix the error message using the attached patch.
I do not know how ot fix the

...ut.
I use driver usbhid-ups (which communicate with ups), but subdriver
resolving is automatic (no subdriver param), as i read source code this
driver uses usb manufacture signature (vendorid/productid) to choose
subdriver so there was no chance to more tests, just few params
(pollonly, pollfreq, maxreport).
But... Help needed !
