Maia Mailguard
OK sever hours of grepping through the output of "yum list available," google, checking rpmfind, Dag, Fedore Extras, etc., and there doesn't seem to be a RPM for Maia Mailguard. If there is one please point me in the right direction and beat me over the head with the correct way to find RPMs in the future. Maybe I just need sleep...

Spamassassin + Postfix : delete spam mail on the server ?
...ng those > in a quarantine, and using Mailwatch (http frontend) to let people > release mail from the quarantine, etc .. Thanks, Fabian. I was looking for something like that for long time. I was using the above under amavisd-new. And as I didn't find GUI front-end ;-( I ended up using maia mailguard. By that point I switched servers to FreeBSD, and there is FreeBSD maia port which is being actively maintained by brilliant person, so that may be the best source to get maia from, not the main maia website. Thanks again, it looks like mailwatch does everything I needed (and found i...

Replying to Posts Within Same Thread
Hi, When I reply to a post, it generally appears as a separate thread, rather than branching off the original post. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Noting I am currently receiving a couple of the lists in digest form. kind regards -- Charlotte Maia http://sites.google.com/site/maiagx/home

Enabling easier contributions to rsync
Hi, Are there plans to soon move to github or some other place where people can easily contribute to rsync, making the software discussion more lively and productive? I've seen several useful patches being submitted (e.g. faster checksums) which many others could really use... Cheers, Filipe -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

...add on packages, is terrible. Rcmdr Pros and Cons: - I haven't used it for a long time, so can't really comment. - However, I was surprised by how many reverse dependencies it has. So I will assume it has some potential. Other people's thoughts welcome... kind regards -- Charlotte Maia Open Source Developer and Statistician http://sites.google.com/site/maiagx

Spamassassin + Postfix : delete spam mail on the server ?
Hi, My mail server is running on CentOS 7 with Postfix, Dovecot and Spamassassin. I get quite a lot of spam on a few accounts, and Spamassassin does its job fine. Spam mail is identified correctly, and it looks like there are no false positives, e. g. valid mail is never identified as spam. When a message is flagged as spam, the subject line is rewritten to begin with [SPAM]. Then, a filter in

commit b936741 breaks compilation on macos
Hi, On systems with HAVE_SETATTRLIST, commit b936741 breaks compilation. This is because do_setattrlist_times hasn't been converted to STRUCT_STAT *stp. Here's a small patch to do it. Cheers, Filipe PS: I've been playing with IO_BUFFER_SIZE, MAX_MAP_SIZE and WRITE_SIZE. Any plans to make it configurable at runtime? It seems to make a big difference for large files on a fast link

Fw: Sendmail vs. Postfix
..., Mailscanner looks to have some great features, but I haven''t been able to determine that it has user-controllable settings and quarantines. For those folks that need more of a service provider approach as opposed to a corporate-friendly approach, or any combination of the two, check out Maia Mailguard: http://www.maiamailguard.com/ The two important features to me were the ability for users to control their own settings, and review their own quarantine. Maia''s based on amavisd-new, and as such can use both SpamAssassin, and DSPAM, as well as pyzor, razor, and dcc to aide in...
