RE: Slideshow
Nope, nothing new. I haven''t had time to get back to it since I last posted the code, but I might over the next few days as there''s a bit of a lull at work. openssh-bugs mailing list archives
...h the openssh-bugs mailing list? I''m not subscribed to it, but watch the marc.info archive instead. The last message in the archive is the creation of bz#2163 on October 10th. The archive at gmane.org likewise seems to have stopped at the same time. I at first thought that this was just a lull in activity, but it''s gone on rather long. Poking around at bugzilla.mindrot.org, I see that new bugs have been created since then, so this is obviously not the explanation. Is the list simply no longer being archived? -- Iain Morgan

RE: VM on * for CME Install - Solved
I found with some more testing that you have to setup a 5 digit number (or something longer than your phone extensions) to make the voicemail work. Now the trick is making the MWI work. Rick -----Original Message----- From: Lull, Rick Sent: Friday, July 15, 2005 3:55 PM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' Subject: VM on * for CME Install Hi folks- I've got to the point of trying to configure voice mail on the * box for the SCCP/CME phones. The phone can call the voicemail number (85...

rsync 2.6.6 : Possible comms failure during delete backup of large filesystem
...Mark Inkley wrote: > You will note, that I am using 2.6.6, previously I used 2.6.2 which > had the same issues. Is the version on each machine 2.6.6? If the remote version is older than 2.6.4 then rsync cannot use its keep-alive protocol to try to keep the connection from timing out during lulls in the sending of data (such as when one side is busy deleting files). (Also, 2.6.4 only has partial keep-alive support.) If both machines are running 2.6.6, it is still possible for the session to timeout if the keep-alive logic doesn't get called often enough for the speed of your system a...

Bar Plots: Error Bars
Hey Everyone, I'm pretty new at R and wanted to try and make some graphs with dummy data before using it to analyze my own. I successfully made a bar graph and error bars, but I can't figure out how to align them properly (currently they are not centered on the bars and some of them aren't even close). Here's the code that I'm using: > marks <- sample(4:10, size=50,

Problems with inbound connection and registering phone
...33 phone that is connected to another much much older Asterisk implementation running a piece of amateur radio gear called Allstar. The version of Asterisk used in the Allstar project is ancient--like 1.4 or 1.6--and the configuration syntax and options are quite different, so I didn't get lulled into thinking I'd just clone that configuration on my newer Asterisk implementation. The "Definitive Guide" shows everything about adding phones as SQL statements, so I made some educated guesses as to what to put into pjsip.conf. Something's obviously wrong because the pho...

Samba performance on FreeBSD and other platforms in a 'Normal' world.
...s in the data transmission. ) Samba Transfers: Average 6.0 MB/s from Client1/2 to Server. 1.75 MB/s from server to Client1/2. (does not matter which machine, they both produce almost identical network behavior.) ( The reason the average from server to clients is so low is due to unexplainable lulls in transmission from the server to the client. Peaks in the transfer near 6.0 MB at times. ) The lulls usually only last a second to 3 or so. But it's the darnest thing watching them. The transfer to the server looks like a nice plateu one might like to have a picnic on. While the server t...

6.1 Release
OK, So how can we help getting CentOS 6.1 released? This is a "Community" project. I'm not a programmer, IT person but I do ask a lot of help from this list. What do we need to do or how can the 'average person' help? Can you send us some files to test? What? I'd like to help but don't know how. Eddie

Command line completion causing crash?
Did a cvs update yesterday and now I am getting a crash when attempting completion at cli. In particular, sh(tab) .... and the asterisk process goes down. Anyone else see this? If not, I'll do a clean install. In an unrelated question I've been shutting down to do the make installs - is this necessary - or can I build everthing, and then just do the modprobes and restart at the end?

Bitstream freeze
Hello, I´m just curious: How far is Theora from a bitstream freeze? From TheoraTodo: "Derf has come up with a number of suggestions for improving the flexibility of the bitstream based on his experimental encoder work. These will be implemented, if not entirely supported by the reference decoder, before alpha 3 is released." Are those changes supposed to be the last adjustments?
