MIGRATE SHARES always fails
Hi, I have an Ubuntu 8.04 box running as Samba PDC (version 3.0.28a) with an LDAP backend, and I tried to migrate a share from a Win2003 server to the Samba box. However, running the "migrate shares" or the "migrate files" commands always results in errors: $ net rpc share MIGRATE SHARES data_share -S w2k3box -U <admin> --destination=localhost migrating:

return (x+1) * 1000
And the related: > f = function() stop(return("lol")) > f() [1] "lol" I have a feeling all of this is just return() performing correctly though. If there are already R CMD CHECK checks for this kind of thing (I wasnt sure but I'm hearing from others there may be/are) that may be (and/or may need to be) sufficient. ~G On...

my notes on bond, bridge, network, kvm, host and virtual so far
I put this page together just so I won't spam the board anymore begging for help..lol http://bobhoffman.com/vmissue.html This shows a working effort of bonded eths, bridged into a vm, and a few other things. The only missing thing is something on the host that ends up putting the VM internet connection into some kind of limbo. Whether it is hardware related, bug related, libvirt...

AOP in Prototype / JS
Hey folks I am just investigating using Aspects for logging my main Javascript "interfaces". I don''t believe Prototype has any built in capabilities for this but I just thought I''d check and see how people had tackled this before. I am still getting to grips with core JS so apologies if this is easy or obvious.. I am Googling as we speak also.. Cheers Matt

cant play after updating to ubunto 11.10
I recently updated my Ubunto from 11.04 to 11.10 and I can no longer play windows games via wine. However I can still launch and use Steam, but I cant play any of the games there, Steam shows the "preparing to launch..." message but the game never launches. Also with World of Warcraft the game launcher opens up, I can see the news and all, but when I push the play button the launcher
