Samba 3.0.23d
Good Morning
I am looking to download the Samba 3.0.23d binary for Solaris. When I go to the area that is set up for binaries, there is nothing under the Sparc folder. Is there another place I can get the binary?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Access Database SLOW
...n a NT and a NetWare server it works fine, almost instantaneous
response. When served via Samba it take almost 30 seconds to get the
database up, and then that long again for each of the various forms and
such.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Soft link trouble with rsync on SGI
...seems to always synch the links as
opposed to comparing the age.
Is there a way around this? Or, is there indeed a fix in a later
version of rsync?
I will check the mailing list, but please feel free to e-mail me
directly. Best for me would be to send to both.
Thanks,
Matt Jones

OpenSSH 4.5p1problem with LynxOS v3.
...exit" but it does when you exit via "logout" or simply
closing the terminal.
The problem seems to be in the server loop. When you reproduce the
problem the forked SSHD sits in wait_until_can_do_something() and does
not exit.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thank you.

Uninstall Wine Software doesn't work
When I try to use "Uninstall Wine Software" it does nothing. Some applications seem to uninstall but they remain on the list and on the disk.
Others, namely Office 2007, will not even pretend to uninstall.
How do I get rid of them?

Charles,
If you are accessing data from both a Samba
share via Win32 and via a UNIX program the UNIX program

Connecting a Samba box to NT shares via smbclient
...to set something similar up and would be willing to offer their assistance
is greatly appreciate. Once we get the connection between the two
platforms, the rest is easy. We've actually had it working connecting to a
Win95 box but there is less security on shares with Win95.

W2K not registering correct disk space
...d disk space of my
share. However, I have a directory on my share which is linked (on the UNIX
side) to another device with more storage. My problem is that W2K is having
problems checking the disk space over multiple devices. Has anyone seen
this problem and/or know of any solutions?

HTB''s scalability
...ws
That need to be policed (up to 5000).
My questions follow:
1) Up to what traffic loads (in Mbps) does HTB scale?
2) How many classes (qdiscs??) can HTB support?
3) What is the timer granularity at which HTB operates?
Feel free
