...on an MSI Hermes 651, it says "SYSLINUX 3.07 2005-01-12 ", then hangs forever. On any other machine I've tried, the same CD displays my boot.msg after this message, and then boots the kernels listed in the configs. Any idea what's causing this, and how to fix/work around it? LLaP bero

...One example for a strange characters is in the title of the home page of the US Department of State (http://www.state.gov/), in firebird, it is shown as \2013, on the linux server, is is shown as `^S'. ...MASTER IP} -U user%pass doesn't always find all machines in the workgroup, and sometimes finds machines that have been turned off ages ago (I know this isn't samba's fault). Is there a better way to get a list of available SMB mounts, or at least a workaround for the long hangs?
