I'm getting some warnings: NOTICE[xxx]: File rtp.c, Line 264 (process_rfc3389): RFC3389 support incomplete. Turn off on client if possible Asterisk Version: CVS-01/06/04-13:50:26 Cisco ATA 186 version: v3.0.0 atasip (Build 031210A) Is this something I should be concerned about? Anyone know how to "turn off" the RFC3389 support on the ata 186? Thanks!

I have a couple of Polycom phones, bootrom 2.5.0, SIP 1.3.1.0056. Works great with Asterisk when I power on the phone. However, after some time, say an hour, I cannot receive calls on this phone. On Asterisk, when I do "database show", it does show the phone in there, but it cannot reach the phone. Is there a way to keep alive the connection with Polycom? Any suggestions? Thanks, --

I have the standard parking.conf but extension 700 doesn't show up in my dialplan.... Why? I can dial 701 which tells me that I don't have any calls parked there. 700 just gives me invalid extension noise.... Should I have extension 700 defined elsewhere? ...SCSI is expense--it's frequently a big premium over IDE and it doesn't always return much on that investment. If you already have a SCSI system, there's no reason to expect problems. Given all the issues with the fax DSP code and reliability, I'm looking into the option of using an external fax modem instead of trying to shoehorn asterisk into handling faxes properly... I'm thinking of hooking up the faxmodem to the line directly, then hooking the X100P to the modem's Phone port. Can I enable fax detection and use the fax extension to spawn an external command
