was "internal error[date time]" where date and time appeared to be the
current date and time.
Is this correct behaviour?
Dovecot was running on FC2, and the client was Mozilla Thunderbird under
Windows.

To be perfectly honest, I'd ideally like to give people separate subscription settings anyway. I thought about symlinking the folders in, but that makes it a manual process to add new folders to everyone's maildirs.
Can anyone please give me any pointers?

AFAIK it's only possible to have a server answer to multiple names in a
single workgroup ("netbios name" then "netbios aliases")
I hope this helps,

Finally a quick google search finds you plenty of information on it.

I believe if your samba server is a member in one of the workgroups and
there is a trust relationship between it and the other workgroup then
you can configure samba to allow from the other workgroup in effect
serving both workgroups.

malformed broadcast packets ?
Hello All,
I recently upgraded to Redhat AS3 from an older 7.3 installation.
With samba 3 (3.0.2-6.3E is the rpm version), I've been seeing activity
that wasn't present before.
Every 15 minutes (within a few seconds accuracy), I receive an alert
from our SonicWall (firewall appliance) reporting that a "Malformed IP
packet dropped." where the source was the upgraded server, and

At the risk of sending someone else off on completely the wrong track,
how about we write ourselves our own FS specifically to give the best
possible performance for Samba? ;)
