Ascend Pipeline POTS to TDM400P FXO Question..
...od for the first call, and then it's done. Does anyone know of any adjustments that will make this work? Figured maybe someone here has run into such an issue before. Hooking it to a normal POTS line works great, but out of the P75 seems to be a no-go outside of the first call. --- Howard Leadmon http://www.leadmon.net

How to manually add a new interface to a bridge device?
...as if you look at dmesg output, you can see all the vnet?? nodes as the OS comes online. So the question is, what is virt-install doing that creates the needed vnet interface that is part of the bridge. How to manually add a new interface to a bridge device?
I would stop the VM, edit its definition file (that's an XML file) and then start it up. But be careful: After you edit the XML file, you need to execute a command so KVM re-reads that file. I forgot that command, but you can look it up on Google. Issues with Ubuntu 14 as a guest VM, and network throughput..
I have a CentOS 6.5 server running as a host for about a dozen other VM's, and all were running just fine. I had a mix of CentOS, Ubuntu, and FreeBSD VM's running, no problem at all. I then updated the Ubuntu VM's to the newer 14.x release, and that installed a 3.13 linux kernel, and after that (which I didn't notice right at the start) the network throughput outbound was
