...it may be as simple as removing gsaov07 as a peer, then probing over the correct network.
I'll follow up with the Engine log.

Using OH323 and Gatekeeper
...r my h323 client with a phone number, it
all seems to be working.
When I put the ip address of the gatekeeper into h323.conf, asterisk failed
to load. I get an error that I can't open an h323 listener on port 1720.
Has anyone done this before? Your help would be appreciated.

...recommended that cluster should be formed
using hostname otherwise if the server goes through IP change we have to
change the configuration from the backend. If its the former, then this is
a race condition and restarting glusterd should bring back the service up.

Using a Cisco 7960G
Is anyone using the subject phone without the proprietary call setup equipment? How do you configure this phone to use the * pbx? I am hoping to go out and buy a couple of phones but the dealer here says I need to spend another $15K or so for the call manager equipment.

...erver ended up in a Non Operational state and the GSAov08 server is now green (Up). The hosted engine is still running on GSAov07 and it seems that the Non Operational status is due to the Gluster daemon failing.
Let me know if you need logs other than the glusterd.log attached.
Thank you,

router UDP timeout
...ss = 1024, ts=655380,
seqno=177).
My guess is that the timeout for UDP on the router is set to quite a low
value and it times out if there is no data sent from the client to the
server for this amount of time. Would a solution be to send a packet of
silence every minute or so?
Many thanks

This will be my 'edit resolution', the smallest portion of audio that can be manipulated by any cut/copy/paste operation.

R suitability for development project
Hello All,
Eric Langley here with my first post to this list. I am looking to
determine if R is suitable for a development project I am working on

I would like to preface my inquiry that while I am not a programmer I

I have also unsuccessfully tried to use gzfile to open a connection and then

Any suggestions?

Ztdummy or Zaptel card on production server
...equire usb-uhci if we were to go for
Ztdummy - but one person seemed to have found problems with this:
http://www.sineapps.com/print.php?rssid=731. Also, if I were to go for a
Zaptel card for timing, would pretty much any FXO card be suitable?
Any advice on what to do would be great.

IAX jitter
Hi there
I have a question regarding IAX jitter. I have 3 users on a LAN dialing into
a Meetme conference on an Asterisk box which is also hosted on the LAN. I
have set jitterbuffer = no and tos = lowdelay. Now, for 2 of the users the
audio is fine, but for the 3rd user there is intermittent break up in the
audio when they are receiving. I have had a look at "iax2 show channels" and
