Agents on DND still receiving calls...
Fellow Asterisk Users,
I'm running Asterisk 1.2.5, and I've configured basic call queueing using
agents. The problem I'm having is that agents who are on DND are still
considered (by Asterisk) to be eligible to take calls. This means that calls
will hit voicemail even when other agents who are not on DND are available.
Any ideas how I can make agents ineligible to receive calls

server recommentation (unique requirements)
Howdy. I've been having trouble finding a fairly modern server that meets the
following requirements:
- Molex power connectors (don't want to use the Digium FXS power supply)
- 4 PCI slots, one full-length (TDM2400P, 2xT100P, additional NIC)
- dual power supplies
- preferably dual CPUs >= 1GHz
- preferably rack-mountable (3-4RU)
- CentOS-friendly

Data calls through TDM2400E
Hello. Has anyone been able to successfully make data (dialup modem) calls
through a TDM2400E? We're able to make fax and credit card calls fine, but
cannot successfully make modem calls using a 56K modem connected to a patch
panel connected to an FXS port which then gets bridged to an FXO port
connected directly to a phone line. We have 'echocancelwhenbridged=no' set

dynamic IPSEC: Holy grail sighted
Hi,
Thanks to some pointers from Christian Kratzer, I am now able to join the
office VPN from a random WiFi hotspot. With the configuration files changes
detailed below, from a public WiFi hotspot I can now use this 3 step
procedure to login to the office VPN.
1) While at hotspot, boot up my -STABLE laptop.
2) Insert wireless card.
3) "rsh server"
This procedure works for a DHCP

Variables in queues.conf
Howdy. Is it possible to specify variables such as USERNAME=technology/number
in queues.conf? I'm looking for something similar to the [globals] section in
extensions.conf. Doing so in [general] doesn't work, and an added [globals]
context is seen as a queue. Thanks.

BSD people, please test kqueue changes
I rewrote much of the kqueue code since the old code didn't handle
properly the case when both input and output I/O handlers were added to
the same file descriptor with different callbacks. This is done commonly
in Dovecot, so I'm wondering why more people didn't complain about
problems with it.. :)
I don't anyway have access to any BSDs so the code is completely
untested. Please
