I'm sure this has been asked before quite a few years ago and in great quantity, but I've been searching threads on various sites for a few hours now, and can't seem to find a fix. Anywho, I have KOTOR installed, and it runs in fullscreen and all that, however, all my polygons are white, as in, there is no textures. All the text within the game is also just blue boxes. This obviously makes the game unplayable, and was wondering if anyone had a quick fix for it. I was told 1.00 works better than 1...

...and down when I move the mouse to far up or down. This is really annoying when moving around and trying to throw things. Is there anyway to fix this? I tried changing Graphics settings in the Wine Configurations under Window Settings and nothing helped. This also happens in Gothic 3 and Star Wars: Kotor 1 and 2. Some of my other games do this but are fixed by changing the Window Settings in the Wine Config.

Howdy all, quick question. As you know, The knights of the old republic games have a hard time running on windows 7 effectively, and even harder on vista. I was wondering if you can run wine on windows? And if so, can you use it to run older programs that can't run on newer OS's? Finally, are there any instructions on using wine?

...installed Gothic 2, and I got it to run fine. However, I can always see the cursor in the middle of the screen. This is mostly due to the fact that Gothic 2 doesn't have a cursor (you scroll through menu's with the wheel, the rest is controled through keyboard). A similar glitch appears in KotOR, where it flickers between the games cursor and the system cursor, but that I can ignore.
