FreeBSD & Gentoo Images
Hello, does anyone have a vbd file of these 2 Operating Systems ? So far I only managed to get Debian Sarge installed properly with deboostrap. I would be more than happy if anyone had a DiskImage or a good howto for at least FreeBSD. Thanks Regards Christian Keil _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Re: ZFS hangs systems during copy

How much memory is installed? I''m able to hang an Ultra 60 with 256 MByte of main memory, simply by writing big files to a ZFS filesystem. The problem happens with both Solaris 10 6/2006 and Solaris

xvm-gate: arrow keys broken in pygrub
One of my test domUs is a opensuse 10.3 PV domain, and it has a /boot/grub/menu.lst file. pygrub is used as bootloader. With xVM 3.1.4, the arrow keys can be used in the pygrub screen. With xVM 3.3-unstable, the arrow keys don''t work for me any more. What I''ve found out so far is that: - gnome-terminal, xterm or dtterm are running with "vt100 application key

b89 xVM Source tar bundle is corrupted on the on download site
Apparently the b89 xvm-src.tar.bz2 tar bz2 archive is corrupted / truncated on the b89 source download page: http://dlc.sun.com/osol/on/downloads/b89/ http://dlc.sun.com/osol/on/downloads/b89/xvm-src.tar.bz2 In the past, the xvm-src.tar.bz2 file had a size of ~ 100 mbytes; with b89 the size of the downloadable archive is only 72 mbytes. And bzip2 complains: % bzip2 -tv

Dom0 issues: snv_79b and Tecra M9
Hi all, I have a Toshiba Tecra M9 and have not been able to boot it dom0. This is running SXDE 01/08, snv79b. After booting under kmdb and setting moddebug=80000000 before booting the Solaris kernel (with help from Dan Mick), I was able to see mac_ether as the last thing loading, right after loading the e1000g driver. I cannot drop into kmdb via F1-A after it hangs. I''ve also

SoundBlaster 16 removal impending
(Reply directly, as I''m not subscribed here.) As you may have seen, ARC recently approved my case to remove the ancient sbpro driver Solaris. I''m intent on doing that, because it really helps with our OSS integration effort, which I''m now leading. The problem is, will this impact qemu? I''m not sure of the answer. I *think* qemu emulates an older ESS1370

Coxph not converging with continuous variable
...e problem intermittently with less extreme values. It seemed odd that I couldn't find this question asked anywhere, so I'm wondering if I'm just not seeing a mistake I've made. Any help is appreciated to get this model to converge. Code, output, sessionInfo follows signature.
