[ovirt-users] GlusterFS performance with only one drive per host?
I would go with at least 4 HDDs per host in RAID 10. Then focus on network
performance where bottleneck usualy is for gluster.

Problem with OpenSSH 2.3.0p1 and Linux kernel 2.4.1pre8 (Disconnecting: fork failed: Resource temporarily unavailable)
I'm having a problem with OpenSSH 2.3.0p1 and Linux kernel 2.4.1pre8.
After a client connects and is authenticated ssh fails to fork,
disconnects and dies. Normally I run sshd out of inetd with the -i flag.
thinking this might be the problem I ran it in daemon mode from the
command line. The results were the same. Running with maximum debugging
on I captured the following:

[ovirt-users] GlusterFS performance with only one drive per host?
My take is that unless you have loads of data and are trying to optimize
for cost/TB, HDDs are probably not the right choice. This is particularly
true for random I/O workloads for which HDDs are really quite bad.
I'd recommend a recent gluster release, and some tuning because the default
settings are not optimized for performance. Some options to consider:

Winamp plugin installation
Okay, this is a nitpick but I gotta do it. First the background: I'm
trying to convince a diehard mp3 coworker of mine to use ogg for his
personal project along side of mp3 and having a tough time. His gripe is
that the default players all support mp3 (Winamp and wma) but not ogg and
that his listeners won't want to go out and install it. We have now set up
a huge shared drive on the

Websockets on Asterisk 11 and SipML5
Hello,
I'm trying to register a user using sipml5 on Asterisk 11. I followed the
instructions here:
http://thr3ads.net/asterisk-users/2012/08/1972342-Asterisk-Websockets
I added transport=ws to my sip.conf file:

username=3002
secret=XXXXXXXXX
host=dynamic
type=friend
context=test
disallow=all
allow=g729
;allow=all ; Allow codecs in order of preference

Client Shares
Samba is too technical for a guy like me. I find it hard to configure
my standalone samba server to respect the SAMBA PDC. From the
documentation i need to install winbind and all those highly technical
things. I hope we can make things simple guys!
Our Setup:
Samba Server PDC
Clients: Win9x, WinXP, Linux
I'm on a linux machine. I hope I could share and specify a valid user
