Thank you for pointing the direction. Indeed, ver. 6.03 works correctly.
BTW, this project gets very complicated. I spent a lot of time guessing
which files I would need. I hoped that reading Makefile would help me but I it
did not. Maybe you could add a target for copying final results to a
destination.
(Target 'installer' do sth else ... /slackware 14.1/)

Why do <none>s appear in the list of predictor variables in logistic regression using 'step' or 'stepAIC' function?
Would anyone help me solve my problem with R, please? I am very new to R. I am doing logistic regression analysis on the presence/absence of salamanders using several predictor variables, as shown below. I have checked my data, but I didn't find any 'NA' or empty cells. When I used step() or stepAIC to select significant predictor variables, <none>s appear to places where

Hello Ivy,
Your scale shows times in seconds since 1970 (I guess it is 1970)
usually, I don't draw the axis with plot (see xaxt="n"), but call axis
aftewards, giving the ticks positions and the labels as strings, using
format.
With your example:
format(Time,'%d %b %Y')

Quasipoisson with geeglm
Dear all,
I am trying to use the GEE methodology to fit a trend for the number of butterflies observed at several sites. In total, there are 66 sites, and 19 years for which observations might be available. However, only 326 observations are available (instead of 1254). For the time being, I ignore the large number of missing values, and the fact that GEE is only valid under MCAR. When I run the

Well, Would you like to do me a favor again?
Most of times, the x-axis time data is lasted about 3 months. They are too much. I must select some of them marking in x-axis,and they are must reasonable and human-readable. Now I have tried the "pretty " function, But as soon as I run it, the

Hello,
I've encountered a strange problem with loading a font file.
The environment:
motherboard GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3, processor i7-3770, onboard graphics,
extlinux 5.01.
After loading any font I get a mess on a screen. The only rule I could
discover is that: characters with odd code are not displayed at all,
and for characters with even code there is taken a bitmap from position

plot() and points() precision control
Hi all,
I have a problem in that when I plot points that have a high degree of
precision, some significant rounding seems to occur, resulting in
uneccessary overlap of my points. Is there a way to specify the
resolution or precision in plotting functions? Is there an underlying
grid I have to modify somehow?
Many Thanks,
Jon

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Detect Haswell subarchitecture (i.e. using -march=native)
Here we go, updated patch following your advice checking max leaf and porting cpuidex for subleaf (ECX) 0.
NOTE: I’ve set Haswell to be not only 60, but also 63, 69 & 70 model, following changes in Linux kernel & Xen. Also set 62 as Ivy Bridge EP aka E5 v3 (which I has in my workstation).
Cheers,
