The example is invoking NextMethod via an anonymous function, which is not allowed (see documentation for NextMethod). Normally one gets a runtime error "'NextMethod' called from an anonymous function", but not here as the anonymous function is called via do.call. Hello, I have tried to setup Ruby-on-rails on my debian Linux machine and can not get it to run. Maybe someone can help. Before you post an inane reply, I already have GIMP for Linux (x86 Linux native binaries) and it works perfectly, so I'm not really insterested in using GIMP for Windows under Wine, but at least know why it does crash under Wine.
