consolidate three function into one
Hi Bert, I am sorry to bother you on weekend. I am still struggling on defining a correct function. I first defined the function RFS (see below), then run it by provide the two argument. m52.2cluster <-RFS(inputfile =allinfo_m52, N=2 ) I do not get error message, but no figure displays on screen. I do not know what is going on. Can you help me a little more on this issue? Thank you, Ding # function to generate RFS RFS <- function( inputfile, N ) { cluster<- survfit(Surv(RFS_days2, OV_Had_a_Recurr...

consolidate three function into one
HI R users, I construct dendrogram tree and cut the tree into different clusters, then generate survival curves by the following three functions. All variables are included in an inputfile. Can you help me to consolidate the following three function into one functions? I thought about using if else function, but not sure how to do it. Thank you, Ding # function to generate RFS RFS2cluster <- function( inputfile ) { cluster2<- survfit(Surv(RFS_days, OV_Had_a_Recurrence...

Example input data with example output using relative pathway in vignette of R package?
...using example data in Hadley Wickham's post ( http://r-pkgs.had.co.nz/data.html), and believe I should keep my example data as raw data, as it must be parsed to generate the output. So, I created a directory in my package structure /Users/userName/myPackage/inst/extdata/ with subdirectories InputFiles and OutputFiles. And I put the example file (exampleData.csv) inside of the InputFiles subdirectory (/Users/userName/myPackage/inst/extdata/InputFiles). My vignette is located in: /Users/userName/myPackage/vignettes/myPackage.Rnw It contains the following syntax: <<eval=FALSE>>=...

[LLVMdev] [lld] Modeling ELF FileNodes/ControlNodes (Group's) in lld
I do think we have too many classes. I thought InputGraph was going to replace InputFiles. It seems link LinkerInput could be merged into FileNode. Originally InputFiles was the abstract interface that he Resolver used to see all the inputs. If InputGraph supported the methods forEachInitalAtom() and searchLibraries() then we could get rid of InputFiles and have the Resolver uses...

.Call interface: Use R SEXP as C mutable *char
Dear R Developers, DISCLAIMER: I am new to package development in R and new to this list. I am trying to do something along the lines of: SEXP test_fun (SEXP filename) { const char *inputfile = translateChar(STRING_ELT(filename, 0)); int abc = some_function(inputfile); ... } The code compiles fine, but I get a warning: "passing argument of 'some_function' discards qualifiers from pointer target type" I read up on my issue and found this posting: https://stat.eth...

[LLVMdev] lli should not put .bc in argv[0]
...tputs which runs lli) it passes foo.bc instead of foo as the argv[0] for the program. This is surprising to the user, who is expecting that a program started by running "./foo" will call itself "./foo", not "./foo.bc". Fixed by removing ".bc" from the end of InputFile if it is there, in tools/lli/lli.cpp:main(). VorbisFile library crashs.
Hello! There is a problem with the VorbisFile library. It only works when I open an OGG file for the 1st time. After I closed the file and try to open another one or the same it crashs. It seems it applies to the use of either ov_open or ov_test functions or their combination. I wrote a test app that illustrates the bug. It crashs with a message "Unmapped memory exception". It's

Batch Mode for Windows
Hi, I have researched batch mode for windows and could not find anything that worked. I know the code should be $ R CMD BATCH inputfile.R outputfile.Rout or R <inputfile.R > outputfile.Rout I tried these without success. I need detailed, step by step instructions on how to do this. I have tried typing C:\R\bin\x64\Rgui.exe before it, but this just opens R. When I tried to do this, it said that $, R, etc. are not recogniza...
