[LLVMdev] [Reminder] Impending Doom^H^H^H^HLLVM 3.4 Branching!
Just a reminder, LLVM 3.4 will be branching tomorrow: Monday, November 18, 2013 at 7:00:00 PM PST / Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 3:00:00 AM UTC All new features should be near finished. :-) Now, this doesn’t mean that that’s the last time code can be checked into the branch. However, it is the last time code can be checked in without approval by the code owner. Please please please keep on

Impending release: Please test
Hi all, I''ve just finished the last major work before a new release (0.23.0). I''ve got my next work planned out, and I want to get this code, with its bug-fixes et al, released. There have been significant internal changes, so I would really appreciate it if people could test it against their systems, especially those who are using non-{Debian,OS X} platforms, like

upgrading Mysql 5.0.95
Hi All, I'm getting things ready to upgrade my aging installation of MySQL 5.0.95 on my CentOS 5 LAMP server. With the impending EOL date of 3.31 fast approaching my sense of doom and urgency is increasing. I see that the necessary packages are available in @base and @updates - mysql51 and mysql55 respectively but from all the information I've read on the matter so far I'm left with a few questions I don't yet h...

Unable to join Windows 2008 R2 server DC to Samba DC
...b6 Internal ID: 30d07c5 —— On the samba server, the only error that I can pick out in the log.samba (at debug 4) is the following DNS update failure: ../source4/dsdb/dns/dns_update.c:330: Failed DNS update - with error code 110 Any assistance is greatly appreciated as we have an (unfortunate) impending organizational requirement to use Windows domain controllers. Thanks, Justin

Some (lack of) answers regarding the wakeup call application...
...uture, there would still be that external cron-driven shell script. Ugly. What I'm wondering is this: Is there enough interest in the new features I mentioned (either an internal scheduler or scheduled outgoing calls) that I should work on a C version of the wakeup AGI scripts, or should my (impending) next rewrite maintain the current architecture? Anyone with specific questions about using my wakeup app, please email me directly. Still unacceptable echo on X101P
I am still having unacceptable echo on my X101P and twidling with the rx/tx gain levels and echo settings appears to have no discernable effect. Some questions for those who may have more significant electrical engineering background than I. 1. This impedance match thing ... will it affect this solution having other phones in parallel with the X101P? This is done so that I can test while not

PRI(E1) Call recording with Digium cards?
Hi, I've been asked to see whether it is possible to do call logging for call center environments at a lower budget than the usual $1000 per channel. Afaik, with PRI this is possible through a high-impendance Y connection, but I wonder whether this would work with the Zapata cards. Anyone ever tried this? Functionality Questions
...pting or rejecting the call. Once in the call, a timer needs to be started. The timer will be a variable length (depending on the client). After that many minutes, the call needs to be disconnected. A minute prior to disconnection, I'd like a tone to be played on both ends signaling the impending termination of the call. Is this possible with Asterisk? Where do I start? Thank you -- Kyle Baczynski

Drive Failing
I got an email from smartd yesterday with the following error: SMART Health Status: SERVO IMPENDING FAILURE SEEK ERROR RATE TOO HIGH [asc=5d,ascq=43] I understand this means the drive is probably going to fail. This device is /dev/sda and is part of /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 Is it possible to replace the single failing drive and if so, what would be the steps so that data isn't lost....

SoundBlaster 16 removal impending
(Reply directly, as I''m not subscribed here.) As you may have seen, ARC recently approved my case to remove the ancient sbpro driver Solaris. I''m intent on doing that, because it really helps with our OSS integration effort, which I''m now leading. The problem is, will this impact qemu? I''m not sure of the answer. I *think* qemu emulates an older ESS1370

problems with yum_priorities on CentOS5/RHEL5
...L, but I guess this is not the place to ask. Plus I've noticed a couple of features of yum + YP which aggravate the shortcomings - again this is probably not the place, but I'll mention them anyway, as a heads-up to other users. 1. yum check-updates and yum update do *not* warn you of an impending unresolved dependency caused by YP hiding the required package. It seems the only way to find out is if you go ahead and try and perform the update, which potentially leaves you with one or more broken packages. This seems a serious flaw that should be fixed. 2. Not only do higher priority...

The information is out there. We had this discussion here years ago when we were staring and the impending transition. Read the archives on the angst the change engendered and the adjustment to the new methodology. They say that the Internet never forgets, so you should be able to find the original discussions and make your own judgment call. _______________________________________________ CentOS ma...

Package resource changes
What with the impending release and a now fixed bug nagging me, I''m testing puppet [2556] from subversion. There have been changes in packages, I used to have Package { provider => "aptitude", } in my default.pp, but that doesn''t work anymore, and changing package to type or removing...
