Re: IBP under Wine in Ubuntu 8.04
I'm having the exact same problem. The program can't find the internet. I'm interested in following-up on this issue too. dimesio wrote: > It's not clear from your post what you have already tried. Have you tried native shdocvw.dll? I'm afraid I don't understand the question. I'm not a developer. "Try" it how? Is there a debugging checklist posted

lattice legen and auto.key conflict
Hello R-helpers, I'm trying to customize a graphic in lattice using the 'legend' argument to add labels on my plot but in the process I'm losing the legend drawn by 'auto.key', despite the fact that I'm actually not sticking these on the same sides of the graphic. I worked up a quick and simple example with the iris data : ### here's the basic graph

samba virtual server x domain membership
Hi there, I have a samba server (version 3.6) named 'lnbxservcid' which is already a member of a domain whose PDC is another samba server (version 3.4). I'm using the standard samba3 packages from centos and from servnet (as CentOS.4 comes with only samba 3.0.x, but later CentOS releases came with samba3-3.4.x packages). I wish to create on the lnxservcid machine another samba

OSTs inactive on one client (only)
...0002_UUID INACTIVE 3: lustre-OST0003_UUID INACTIVE 4: lustre-OST0004_UUID INACTIVE 5: lustre-OST0005_UUID ACTIVE 6: lustre-OST0006_UUID ACTIVE All OSTs show as completely fine on the other clients, and the system is working there. In addition, I have run numerous checks of the IB network (ibhosts, ibping, etc.), and I do not see any networking issues. Moreover, the OSSs include: OSS #1 --> OST #0, #1, #2 OSS #2 --> OST #3, #4, #5 OSS #3 --> OST #6 So, the machine is seeing two of three OSTs on OSS #1 and one of three OSTs on OSS #2. It is showing some OSTs on an...

Announcing FreeBSD 2.0.5 ALPHA!
It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of FreeBSD 2.0.5-ALPHA! 2.0.5A represents a significant improvement over FreeBSD 2.0R and is our release-candidate for 2.0.5R later on this week. We're doing a short ALPHA release in order to shake out any glaring bugs before rolling 2.0.5R and moving on to 2.1R, which is the bigger goal. If you're looking for 2.1R, then THIS ISN'T

Reproducable Infiniband panic
Hello, I see a reproducable panic when doing ibping and aborting it with ^C. My setup is two machines with Mellanox Infinihost III HCAs (one Linux one FreeBSD) connected back-to-back. Details below. I can upload 2 crash dumps, if this is useful. For some reason the port doesn't become ACTIVE, so no packets arrive, but that is probably unrelated...

intamap plot : specifying cutoffs
Hello all, A question for plotting of intamap results : Is it possible, and in so, how, to specify the cutoff points for changing colors of plots ? Using the example : data(meuse) meuse$value = log(meuse$zinc) data(meuse.grid) coordinates(meuse) = ~x+y coordinates(meuse.grid) = ~x+y object = interpolate(meuse,meuse.grid,outputWhat = list(mean = TRUE, variance = TRUE, excprob = 7, excprob = 8,

lattice : modifying strip names with 2 strips
Hello R-helpers, I'm looking for a way to rename strips in lattice plots when I have more than one conditionning variable. Here's a dummy example taken from http://casoilresource.lawr.ucdavis.edu/drupal/node/510 library(lattice) f <- function(a, b, x) {p <- (exp(a + b*x)) / (1 + exp(a + b*x))} x.seq <- seq(-5, 5, by=0.5) x <- rep(x.seq, 9) a.seq <- c(-2, 0, 2) b.seq

Lossless video codec
I know this probably transcends the scope of the current aims of Ogg video, but one thing I'd consider extremely useful is a lossless video compressor. There are a few of them out there (e.g. PICVideo's lossless wavelet codec) but I've found no free ones so far. The primary use would be for storage of video clips that would be too cumbersome to store as raw frames but still require

Video codec
Hi, I guess this is a good time to start putting together a wish list for a video codec. I see that for audio the compression is around 10X for reasonable quality. I am sure this will start its own thread of conversation. For video you can do 40X fairly easily and the big task is to go to 80X or 100X with reasonable picture quality, say, a peak luma SNR of more than 30 dB. Uncompressed

For example, y=f1(k); k=f2(t); t=f3(x); although it is certain that the can be equations turn into one formual as y~f(x),but write such a complexity

mount.ocfs2: Value too large ...
Hallo, I have two servers and both are connected to external array, each by own SAS connection. I need these servers to work simultaneously with data on array and I think that ocfs2 is suitable for this purpose. One server is P4 Xeon (Gentoo linux, i386, 2.6.22-r2) and second is Opteron (Gentoo linux, x86_64, 2.6.22-r2). Servers are connected by ethernet, adapters are both Intel
